Probably Gaga, as I hadn't heard a Katy Perry sing live before today, and aside from Firework I've never heard any of her music. Katy doesn't seem to be up her own ass tho. And she's friendly with Rih.

I'm having trouble reconciling the gothic medieval look God is sporting in public with the futuristic theme of the promo images. If the imagery of the lead single is going the route of the former, I assume it's some sort of perverse segue into the future a.k.a. the album in November.

I'm actually thinking this is exactly what is going on. She originally said that there was going to be two ARTPOPs. One commercial and one experimental. Then, she said that there is only going to be one album. So, what you said makes a lot of sense, since the album is probably going to have a light and a dark side. I like both versions of GaGa, but I dig the Grunge/Gothic GaGa a lot more. It's different from what she's been doing, so it's refreshing to me.
Also, heck yes to the Buffy and True Blood stanning in here.

Whose relationships are compelling? I really with they would stop setting these shows in highs schools. Its really skeevy for 100+ year old vamps to be all in love with these kids.
TVD has it's highs and lows but TB is so heavily flawed and every season gets progressively worse.

TB is stepping it up this season. If everyone would stop trying to fuck Sookie's old gap toothed ass, the show could progress.
God, I fucking hate Sookie. The show would drastically improve if her character died.

I find Caroline and Klaus' relationship to be the most compelling because the writers really make the viewer want to see them together, yet we know it can never be. Their relationship is full of pulls and tugs that are well paced throughout the two (or three) seasons it played out. I think any other show would have just pushed them together, despite how ridiculous it would have beenoh but they did put Jeremy and Bonnie together, which was all kinds of wrong.

Jeremy and Bonnie slayed. I agree on Damien and Stefan. Anything involving that girl, the main one, is annoying. Klaus and Caroline are gross. She should stick with Tyler.
In concept, Jeremy and Bonnie don't even make sense. Jeremy is given a "true love" every season, while Bonnie is consistently at the end of the spectrum in singles land. Then there is the whole he is Elena's kid brother thing. And they start dating in her senior year? That's pretty much putting an expiration date on the relationship on day one; an odd choice considering the In-Love-Forever-Cause-We're-Vampires theme that runs through the shows veins. I'm sure the writers realized this, too, hence them killing the relationship in every which way.
I like the idea of Carolina and Klaus, but I know it shouldn't be. I like how the writers play on the heart strings like that. Tyler is gross, but I get what you mean.
