Post you MLB 2K6 Ideas/Suggestions

Tell them to just start over...2k6 was in a class of shittyness, of its own.

MVP was the best sports game this year. Defenitely in my top 10 ever.

I got some requests.

1. Add more than 1 hitting sound effect.

2. Remove the invisible wall from the infield.

3. Add more than 4 hitting outcomes.

4. Slam Zone? Hahahaha...lets pretend that never happened in MLB 2K6 ok?

5. Hire game testers, you know those guys who test the game to make sure some problems don't show up in the final version?

Or you could buy the MVP engine from EA. That would help a lot.

o_O

I had no bugs on 2K5 other than me hitting 224 home runs in 1 season with Delgado and the stat tracking crap.

I hate to be so cynical, but this about sums it up. I would add, "Fire Kush".

Why does it always happen where a great game and developer gets lost?

AKI - Wrestling-- Haven't played a wrestling game since 2001

MVP - Baseball -- I know the MVP team is working on NCAA college, but man, there's no Shef in the NCAA!

Post your suggestions on the 2k page people! C'mon, make em work! I know we have alot of diehards here.

Fatalah: Can I post here and you post it there? You're already a member.

1) Remove power swing button - Bane of my existence in all baseball game. No hitter EVER varies their strength of swing. Hitting for power is more a matter of the player's natural strength, where he makes contact with the ball, and where in his swing the player makes contact. This garbage led to a shit-ton of homers.

2) Fix the scale for players and the field - Everyone should have noticed this, but it is clear that the players were much larger than they should be in comparison to the field. This created problems with hitting because fielders would be able to chase down just about any ball hit. Completely unrealistic. This would also alleviate the problems with balls staying in the in-field that really shouldn't. I was unaware that every infielder in the MLB was a gold glover, but they certainly cover ground like they are.

3) Remove turbo button for base-running (Or at least the necessity) - It IS a good idea, but if I smack a ball to shallow right field, I should NOT be able to be thrown out by a right fielder who charges the ball and throws to first. Not unless my last name is Molina, at least.

4) Fix 'wind' affect in game - Stupid issue, but the wind made almost every single 'power hit' a home run. Absolutely ridiculous.

That's all I can think of right now. As has been said in this topic though, starting from scratch wouldn't be a bad idea at all. MLB 2K5 is easily in my top 5 worst sports games ever.

Man, MLB2K5 was garbage...bought it for 20 bucks and played it twice...absolute garbage.

Never seen a worse misrepresentation of the sport on a console. Mike Piazza on N64 was better.

I sold it to EB for 12 bucks, best day of my life.
