Power Rangers fighting scenes were from a Japanese series?

Nah, it was Zedd's personal Zord that he rode around in. It was enormous though, almost twice the size of the Thunder Megazord. It frequently ran out of fuel/energy for some reason though and he always had to retreat before crushing the rangers.AniHawk said:

I think the Lightspeed morph hand motions were the worst, they just looked difflicted. And Time Force probably had one of the worst sayings: "TIME FOR...TIME FORCE!" Stupid.
I think I liked Zeo's whole configuration the best, with the two components that connect together. I also liked Turbo's with the keys.
Goes to show how much I watched Zeo ;P
I thought the Lightspeed Rescue henshin was okay. It was kept similiar to GoGoV's henshin setup as well. Time for Time Force did sound kinda dumb though. I just didn't like Zeo/Ohranger's suit and helmet designs
In Space IMHO had the best suit/helmet designs second to MMPR/Zyuranger.Do you guys know how I can make gif's or capture from a DVD? I have a dvd drive and I could make somemore gif's with some dvd's I have if there is a program I can use..
The Dino Thunder crew are channel surfing and stumble upon the Japanese "Abaranger". It was dubbed in english but by god, it was a parody dub! They practically butchered the Japanese episode with silly voice overs. So the Teens are watching it and the Red Ranger thinks its dumb but the 2 others are intrigued to why a show was like them. So they all watch the Abaranger ep till the end and Conner actually gets into the episode liking it.distantmantra said:
IMHO, this could have been a great episode to pay tribute to the Japanese counterpart they were created from. The past episode in Dino Thunder had it where they showed alot of the past Sentai logo's and such and even a nice MMPR cast pic(Original Cast with Tommy in green ranger suit). Perhaps the only redeming thing with the ep was they kept the Abaranger theme song intact and even had it play at the end of the show they were watching. Ironically, the preview commerical for the episode had the show in Japanese...

Shift into Turbo was always my favorite. It has that nice play of keeping the name of the series and also making allusions to driving. "Dino Thunder" is the worst IMO. Just sounds horrible. "Ninja Storm Ranger Form" would've been ok if it wasn't for the "Hiyaaaah!" at the end. "Wild Access" wasn't bad either but man, that PR series sucked assssssss. Wild Force also had the worst PR actor EVER. Jack Guzman. On the other hand, Wild Force had the hot Sin Wong has a villainess =D.
They never explained why they only used Red Rangers for that mission but it probably has to do with the fact that Red Rangers were almost always the leaders of the Power Rangers (with the exception being Tommy as the White Ranger).

I remember that specifically because it pissed me off how they just shoved Jason aside. And Jason never became leader of the Zeo Rangers, because he told Tommy he didn't want him to think that he was coming back just to reclaim his role as leader again. Which AGAIN, pissed me off. Tommy sucked compared to Jason.
The TMNT crossover ep in Power Rangers in Space was used to cash in on the new Power Ranger show at the time. Besides that ep, In Space was a really good show.
Forever Red was made as a Fanservice to the long time Power Rangers fan. Moreso, it was also made similar to the Gaoranger teamup in Japan that Shouta and I have watched where the past 24 red rangers appear at the last second of the movie to help out Gaored:
I think Forever Red should have had it like Gaoranger where they had past rangers help the current ranger team defeat an enemy. Although now we have 3 more Red rangers to add to that roster...

Bah. I didn't like Jason, but I didn't like Tommy more. I didn't even hear about him becoming the new leader. I just assumed it was always Red, even when Tommy became the White Ranger.

I think it'd been better if it was Forever Rangers... or something. Would have been hard to, but nice, to see all the Rangers together again (though 50 + rangers would be crowded).

I too think an episode where all 55+ (dun make me count! =( ) rangers got together to beat a ferocious enemy would've been cool. Have thing hang out at the end being all nostalgic and end the episode with the classic MMPR song diddy. =D. It would've been nice to have a 6 part episode for this =O.

If they made a episode where all the rangers have a teamup, it wouldn't make any sense since the past rangers used different suits. No way you would have the same actor play both. That was one of the main reasons they started the change the actors every season of Power Rangers so they could do the crossover/teamup eps.

The real issues would be Turbo. The Original MMPR wouldn't be a problem (assuming Thuy Trang was alive) you could have the original cast (Jason, Zack, Billy, Kimberly, and Trini) be in their original suits. the Zeos in their suits (Tommy, Rocky, Adam, Katherine, Tanya). Turbo would be the big problem since they switched halfway through and the Turbo Crew that replaced them (TJ, Cassie, and I can't remember the rest -_-) became the Space rangers =|.
Next Power Ranger series, Power Rangers SPD, will bring back the 2 girls formula of yellow and pink.
Dekaranger, the current series in Japan, actually has 7 Rangers! That will arrive here next year as Power Rangers SPD. You GAF members saw it here first!

I remembered Zhane and Andross (Starfox!) but I just couldn't remember Carlos or Ashley. Everyone knows Justin, little farking brat -_-.
What the heck does SPD stand for =P. Oh yeah, Serpenterra was WAY bigger than 2x the size of the Thunder Zord. Serpenterra could crush Tor under his FOOT (nice fit too!) but always ran out of power before he could =x.

I'm glad they went back to large numbers, I hated the idea of starting with only 3 rangers.
(BTW, does Dino Thunder actually only have 5 rangers total?)He is the commander and mentor of the group played by Doggy Kruger. He didn't henshin into a ranger until after the 10th episode when one of their teammembers was captured. At the time, I had no idea he was going to be a ranger. God did I hate this show in the end. During the scenes when they were in their costumes they would always shake and bobble their heads to the greatest extent to make sure you know they are the ones talking. It was pretty overboard and you saw it ALL the time. The constant re-used footage was really lame. As if the show was so poorly low budget that they had to show the same stuff over and over. The big Robot stuff I mean. My dad would come in the room and say that I already watched that stupid episode before. Ok well one thing that bothered me about the origina MMPR theme song was the part where it said "New Mighty Morphin Power Ranger", who the hell are the old Mighty Morphing Power rangers?
Also The Turtles/Power Ranger crossover was weird since neither show were really that popular at that time.
And how is the second Power Ranger movie, I've never really seen it, I think the part where the fight Kimblerly and Jason.

Black Ranger who replaced Zack = Adam (does anime voices now including Vash the Stampede)
Yellow Ranger who replaced Trini = Aisha
Red Ranger who replaced Jason = Rocky
And then Tommy, Kimberly, and Billy from the first season.
