That was just the American show dubbed in Japanese I'd imagine. I know it was pretty popular over there some years ago.

This will undoubtedly air in America as well although I'm sure they'll keep up the "classic" PPG episodes at least in repeat.

Hmm, yeah maybe. I don't see why IMDB would have a separate listing for it if it's just dubbing though, considering plenty of other shows aren't giving different listings when they're translated for other languages.
