has anyone checked if TitS works well?
Same here. All buttons automagically mapped when the controller is plugged in and the Xinput option is forced in the Controls menu.
Wipeout Pure runs perfectly for me (on PC) but there's way too much bloom and it's really hard to see the track, is there any way to fix this?
Anyone try Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions or Tactics Ogre?
No, but we do use vertex shaders to simulate the PSP's HW T&L, and this helps a lot. The PSP has a basic fixed function T&L unit, with max four lights and some skinning support, and many games make use of it instead of doing transform with the VFPU like they would have had to do on the PS2.

Welp.
Yea, this has been fixed after the release of 7.5 . I'm releasing 7.6 shortly, in the meantime you can try git builds from http://www.ppsspp.org/downloads.html#devbuilds .
It was the fact that it did not do clipping but for the front plane which might have been a bit of a headache for programmers, doing clipping on the VFPU meant doing it in object space pre-transform of doing T&L in software... Or just tessellate geometry more.
Anyways, congratulations for your project.
uncheck buffered rendering from options
Thanks! Doing this also causes FRAPS to display the framerate accurately, instead of always saying 60 even if the game only runs at 30.
Someone explain to me what i have to do with that sonic stage software. I used that uploaded package in this thread and installed from the two directories like was suggested. How do i know if the emulator knows how to use this or not?
I think they're going to fix this issue in the .8 release. You probably still need SonicStage installed, but as far as I know, there is nothing you can do yet.
I know for JPCSP, once I installed SS, the audio started working, but not for PPSSPP yet.
Only thing bad with disabling buffered rendering would be that you can't use 3x, 4x rendering modes. So games look worse.
Huh? My games are still rendering in high resolution even with buffered rendering disabled.
Buffered Rendering: the PSP can render to any location in its VRAM and use as either the scanout buffer (what you see on the screen) or textures. Many games use this to implement special effects, or simply to implement 30fps (you need to show the same buffer twice). We simulate this by allocating an OpenGL FBO for every PSP framebuffer location.
Disabling it is a speed hack, that may or may not speed up some games, and may cause graphical artefacts and/or screen flickering. Another effect of disabling this option is that you lose the ability to render to arbitrary resolutions (such as Screen 1x/2x/3x/4x)
Probably a no brainer stupid question...
but does the 360 controller on the PC work with this?

if anybody wants sonicstage it's up on sony vaio ftp site here:

I downloaded and installed this (and restarted my computer) but my games still don't have any music. Is there anything I need to do to get music to work? Or is it impossible for some games to play music even with this installed?
you have to use the version of emulator Durante linked to earlier in the thread, not one in the op.

Pretty sure there is no way to download that version as the site returns 404
I tried all of the builds that the author linked to in the GitHub discussion thread but all of them are down. Even the one that he uploaded only 4 hours ago.
The google docs link should work for you. You need enable javascript in your browser and then Click on File (below the PPSSPP_2013_4_19.rar at the top of the page), then download.
Worked for me earlier on, and just tried it out again as I wrote this post.

I just get 404 not found with javascript enabled. Tried disabling ad blockers and no luck.Just tried it in a different browser too.
Hmm.. the browser used shouldn't matter, but I'm using Firefox 20.0.1. That's pretty damn weird.
I'm trying to run this on windows, but the moment I open ppsspp it just crashes.
I got Tactics Ogre working with the offshoot version mentioned here. Did the first battle/story without any problems. I just tried FFT to see if it loaded all the way and got into the church in the intro and quit. Will try them more.
The older versions of the emulator didn't get past the loading screen so obviously they are making good progress.
Try installing this first:

If that doesn't work, please tell me a little about your system (Windows version, GPU are the most important pieces of info).
Alrighty then, here's an alternative link to the emulator branch that Durante posted earlier on, for those having trouble accessing the one at google docs:-

Word of advice: Forget about using the emu if you have an Intel GPU older than the 4500HD. I learned about it the hard way (Intel GMA X3100 here). I wonder if we'll get a DirectX version in the future...?
Anyway, awesome work, ector, it might not work for me, but seeing the emulator in Android phones gives me hope for the future of this.
When Valkyria Chronicles 3 translation patch comes out, this will be the perfect piece of software to have.
I actually bought the Japanese version but ripping PSP disks looks like a royal pain in the ass so I think I will have to get an ISO, ahem, somewhere.
