What are you trying to achieve by posting this way? If your point is as simple as saying hitting this guy over the head with a bat was wrong, there are a million simple ways to say that without coming across as an unsympathetic asshole. But with every post you seem intent on agitating people, downplaying the disgusting behavior of this "preacher", and advocating for an extremely harsh punishment for this woman who hit him even after she has already been sentenced.

That was exactly my fucking point, as should've been evident in my first post. For whatever reason, people found that unacceptable and began attacking my position with lazy arguments. I respond to such in kind. If people take offense in me not classifying the preacher's terrible behavior as a legal threat, that's their prerogative. I don't see how his behavior means I can't also believe the woman should be punished for assaulting someone. I don't want her to get an especially harsh punishment, but letting her off scot-free would set a dangerous precedent.

I'm from AZ and am quite familiar with this guy. The police is present for this shit regularly. When he and other similar radical preachers (we've had a few) saying the same shit are standing up and spewing it to everyone on/near campuses, the police are typically present. They don't ever do anything until it turns violent. Ever. I imagine this is the same most places. You don't get arrested for saying shit like this, at least not in America.
