Pregnancy Scares

How do you deal with pregnancy scares? Girlfriend and I have been freaking out cause she's missed her period by about four days now. There was one instance when we had unprotected sex last month. We got into it and then 3/4s of the way she's all, "Wait, don't cum in me, I'm not on birth control," and I'm like dafuq chick. Anyway, we're starting to think it may have been from that time. Abortion is pretty much out the window. She always speaks against it. Firmly against it. But she's as freaked out as I am right now. We couldn't afford a little shit right now.

How do you guys get through these? Can't stop worrying about it. Unsure of how I'd be able to go about handling it if she actually was pregnant. Can hardly afford my life as it is...
I guess we'll be doing a pregnancy test later this week. How early can it be for those to show accurate results?
 
You could always put it up for adoption if she's pregnant and you can't afford it. Unsure of how that whole process works from the supply side, but I'm sure you could work it out.
 
Up for adoption, also four days isn't necessarily that late. It is possible but very unlikely to get a girl pregnant from unprotected sex if you don't ejaculate inside her.
 
Just do the test, it could be a false alarm.

However if your girlfriend truly believes she's pregnant her body will believe she is as well.
 
I was hoping this thread would be about scaring pregnant women.. Like jumping out of bushes or sending them fake IRS Audit notices.
 
Funny story.

So, last year, I was talking to this girl named Kara. We had hooked up a couple of times.

My best friend's name is Karen. I get a text from her that says "Please don't judge me....but I'm pregnant." I misread the name and was freaking out all day, told my friends, trying to get advice, all this stuff.

I look at the name and I'm like...."OH MY GOD".

A test should give the result today!
 
Did I get redirected to Reddit? How about you see when she can take a home test? How about you find out what birth control the two of you are using?

We'll take a pregnancy test ASAP then. To be honest, I'm kind of naive with this entire thing, so I wasn't sure if pregnancy tests would even work this early on. Since I'm being told to take one every day, do we just keep doing them every day until either a) she starts bleeding or b) it returns positive? How long would we have to test if it keeps returning negative but she continues to be late on her period?
 
I've been through quite a few. Usually they're just a scare, and it all blows over. But then sometimes you might end up paying for child support for the next 18+ years of your life.

OP you've been having sex for a year with this girl and you just found out she's not on birth control?

And when you DID find out you came inside her anyway?

Something isn't adding up here.
 
Her period being late might be in correlation to knowing you had unprotected sex and she is worried about pregnancy and thus it messes with her system. It happens. So eventually it will hopefully come.

Right now all you can do is wait and buy a pregnancy test now or when her period was supposed to end.
And don't nag her to ask if it came or not yet, if she is worried too she will tell you when it comes.

Huh? Don't really know where you got all that. It was just in that one instance. Her birth control ran out last month and she hadn't gone to get more at that point. She has more pills now, but she was told not to start taking them until after her next period. Otherwise, she'd waste about a week's worth.

I didn't come in her that night. I keep hearing my brother's voice, though: "First you dribble, then you shoot." Argh.
 
Develop a Plan A of what happens if an accidental pregnancy happens. Plan B: if she's not on birth control, she needs to communicate this so you rubber up.

That said, birth control fucks with a normal menstrual cycle, as it's meant to. Getting back on track with the cycle post-bc can take a few weeks. Just have her do a test at least 3 weeks from the suspected date of impregnation. No need to do one everyday, that's silly :P

Had one with a sex friend. Most intense two weeks of my entire life.

We decided to get a pregnancy test because she was two weeks late (?!) and was like "nope, nope, not pregnant, should have symptoms by now". Convinced her to go and buy the test after work and then she sends me a whatsapp message around 4AM.

"You're not gonna believe what just happened :D".

Slept like a damn rock. Shiiiiiiiit.

Yeah, it's pretty simple. Just go pick up a test, they're like $15. The result will be negative. You two will set the thing down and then head off to deal with the B plot. Right before the credits, your wacky neighbor will find the test, read the result correctly and close the show with "congratulations." Standard stuff.

Seriously though, that's a weird stretch of time for anyone, but especially so if you're young. glhf

I can't understand how she didnt remember that she wasnt on birth control until you had churned butter 3/4's of the way.

Maybe she wants you to be her baby daddy
