lol good luck OP. It's way easy to get pregnant. I wouldn't have banged a girl that's not on birth control.


Luckily, my own accidental pregnancy came when I was already married to the love of my life.
 
If it happens, it happens. What are you going to do?

Some of the best children and some of the best parents both started out this way. It'll be alright man. Tough at first, but IF she's pregnant, 10 years down the road you'll look at this kid and you wouldn't wish it any other way.
 
I'm such a wuss when it comes to these things. I mean, I think it's a very rational thing to take every precaution you possibly can, because literally anything is better than ending up with an unwanted child, specially in a country where abortions are illegal, but I feel like I get too concerned sometimes, and even after I make sure we took every precaution (condoms, avoiding certain dates, etc) I have mini freak outs from time to time and get obsessed about when she's getting her period and stuff. I know it bothers her sometimes because she's a lot more confident.

To be fair, 4 days late isn't a big deal. Def get a pregger test.

If you're up for an abortion you should let her know that if its REALLY early in the pregnancy, she can just take a pill. No need for any surgery nonsense.

How you went from getting a girlfriend that was saving herself for marriage, she changes her mind, gets recorded saying thank you after sex and the whole thing with that and now might be pregnant. Wow.

When my girl wasn't on the pill we had some of those scares too. She has a very irregular period, so sometimes she was a week overdue. When that happend, we just learned to get a pregnancy test and get over with it. She never was pregnant though.

Now she's on the pill and very regular, so it's been a while since we had 'the scares'.

How are you dating someone, being sexually active with them without protection and not know whether or not they're on birth control?
 
One of my ex's used to just miss her period entirely, shit was fucking weird. So many factors can cause a period to be late its unbelievable, get a test asap thought I'd say.

Honestly, if you aren't ready for a kid:

1. Abortion (considering this chick went from no sex to sex in the span of a $1000 necklace, she seems like a person who flip-flops a lot)

2. Man up and deal with it

3. Adoption when it's born

4. Make better life decisions.
 
I don't know exactly what's going on. So all day yesterday I've been texting her to get an update. She didn't respond. I thought it's fine, she's at work, can't text right now. Later yesterday she finally texts back, "Forgot to take it..." A little frustrating but whatever, we'll wait one more day, who cares? This morning, I'm at work. I text her, "Update?" and another delay in her response. Before I left work I got the text, "Unsure. Don't think I'm doing it right. Don't understand it."

I'm about ready to drive over there and force her to pee on it while I watch. I just want to know!

(These tests are done through urine, right? God, so clueless.)

And that's the update for now. That is: don't know still and I'm kind of getting uneasy.
 
I think you're supposed to take those things in the morning for better accuracy. Show up in the am and make her do it. And while you're waiting, start thinking about baby names.
 
Either she's really nervous or she's fucking with you and this is some weird ass test or way to keep you around her forever. This happens with weird late bloomers. I can guarantee you that a woman in that situation will NOT "forget" to take it or HESITATE to do it.

She just pees over the stick, close the capsule thing, and you wait about 2-3 minutes. Those minutes will be nerve wrecking.

ALSO, since I suspect shenanigans, do the test with her. Be there when she does it. Get visual confirmation yourself, dont rely on some texted picture, BE THERE THIS IS CRITICAL for her AND for you.

The instruction and way to interpret results are on the package, it's explained real simple.
 
It's going to happen. Especially when you first have sex with a new girlfriend or whatever. Best advice is to keep a level head until you both know for sure and go from there.

As someone who tried for 8 years to get my wife pregnant and eventually ponied up for in-vitro fertiliztion after almost going for donor sperm (and is finally expecting a child), this thread is HILARIOUS!

I'll not only be able to show my child a picture of the 5 day old fertilized blastocyst, I'll be able to show him the porn I was watching when I spooged in a cup in the hospital to produce him (assuming it's a boy... it would be (more) awkward to show it to a daughter).

Keep on with the scares, folks! We had a scare when we started dating 14 years ago. We were SO happy when it turned out to be nothing. Now we're thinking "we could have a 14 year old kid by now". Have a kid out of the house by 42 as opposed to 56.
 
Wait in the morning. Either way if its positive or not, what difference does it make if its today or tomorrow. Cant do much now. If she says yes, fo to a clinic for a definite test

This, seriously. They usually come in two if there's any chance you fuck up or you need to reconfirm. If anything buy another test and give it to her yourself.

I've had a scare and it sucked.

She took a home pregnancy test and it came back positive. Started googling and read that false negatives are common, but false positives are not because there are no other circumstances where the enzyme that triggers a positive would be present other than pregnancy. My wife cried all night saying she wasn't ready, was unhappy about it, etc. Just going on and on. I was the cool about it even though I was shitting pants on the inside.

The next day she goes to the doctor to get a sure 'nuff blood test. Not pregnant. I tell her I am relived and that it is great. However, she gets pissed off at me for being happy about it and gets upset that she isn't pregnant :( WTF, she was the one squalling about it all night the day before while I said it was ok...
 
The sex you will have immediately after finding out she isn't pregnant will be good.

Unless she is pregnant. And then you never have sex again.
