Presidential Debate #3 |University of Nevada| America's Final Fantasy

At this point in the election cycle there are no undecided voters. There are voters who are too dumb, and may lose their keys on election day; and there are voters too embarrassed by their preferred candidate that they don't want to talk in public about it. But there are no pockets of voters scratching their second chin still trying to figure out if they want to be led by a fascist clown or a lady who didn't use email judiciously. There just isn't

What was this inciting violence at his rally's thing trump was rambling about? I mean I assume it's bullshit but from whence does this particular bullshit originate?
Lol felt like his usual projection nonsense, since he's on tape at his own rallies verbally inciting violence himself. Leading to people getting punched.

That's was a really weird hill to die on. Reagan has very high approval ratings among conservatives.
Yep, funny how his diehards have no problem throwing Reagan or the Iraq War or whatever oher nonsense they've been defending for years under the bus just because he has an R next to his name.

A James O'Keefe video...
Thanks. Oqueef huh? should have known.

Weird since he basically egged on people to treat protestors rough. But he has the most lumens out of any other projector on the market.

Fuck Trump.

Assad, who used chemical weapons against his own population, a war crime, "smarter than Clinton or Obama."

What a fucking disgusting and shameful statement to make.

These undecideds should just not vote...
They'll probably just eat the ballot.

They won't. If they can't feel strongly about one of them at this point, no chance they make an effort to vote. Well unless they can mail it in but that would still require a drive to a post office.

It's not just shameful, it's stupid. How is Assad smart? He fucking drove his country into a civil war.

You have to remember "Smarter" to him is just about who "wins." and everything is a zero sum game. it doesn't mean the are good just winning bigly.

The video is probably deceptively edited, but it still features DNC associates (Who've now been fired) saying they've paid people to start shit at Trump rallies. You can create false narratives with deceptive editing, as O'Keefe has done in the past, but you can't create any narrative you want. You can look up the videos on Youtube.

Don't forget jailing and torturing of anyone who spoke out against him including the press.

Stand up guy that Assad.

This is the foul beating heart of the GOP base. They literally ran interference for a mass murdering psychopath to use a throw-away line during a debate that won't change the outcome of an election. These are our neighbors and co-workers. They teach our kids and process our loans. And after Cheetos Jesus loses in Nov, they'll still be out there

After the first twenty minutes, I turned off the debate. No need to sit through another 90 minutes of a competent, qualified woman debating an incompetent, unqualified man.

I voted two days ago. I'm good, thanks.

These scumbags rooting for Clinton like they weren't praying for her to be arrested a few months ago.
They still aren't 100% for her for legitimate reasons, but recognize her as a superior alternative to Trump whose almost inarguably one of the worst candidates we've seen in a while.

Why do people not being Gung ho about Clinton make them scumbags? Really?

Who the hell is that?

James Edward O'Keefe III (born June 28, 1984) is an American conservative political activist. He has produced secretly recorded undercover audio and video encounters, some selectively edited, with figures and workers in academic, governmental and social service organizations, purportedly showing abusive or alleged illegal behavior by representatives of those organizations. He gained national attention for his release of video recordings of workers at ACORN offices in 2009, his arrest in early 2010 at the office of then-U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA) in a failed attempt to record staff conversations, and the release of videos of conversations with two high-ranking, now former, NPR executives in 2011.

Due to his videos of ACORN workers allegedly aiding a couple in criminal planning, the U.S. Congress voted to freeze funds for the non-profit. The national scandal resulted in the non-profit also losing most private funding before investigations were completed. In March 2010, ACORN was close to bankruptcy and had to close most of its offices.[3] Shortly after, the California State Attorney General's Office and the US Government Accountability Office released their related investigative reports. The Attorney General's Office found that O'Keefe had misrepresented the actions of ACORN workers and that the workers had not committed illegal actions. A preliminary probe by the GAO found that ACORN had managed its federal funds appropriately.

From Wikipedia.

Tldr he's a peice of shit

Yep that was a jaw dropper moment. I expect it will resurface once the dominant discussion right now (won't accept election) kinda blows over. Saying a dictator who gassed his own people and amplified divisions in his own country enough to cause an apocalyptic civil war is "smart" is just so beyond the pale.

Anyone else realize Trump has a lot in common with Mike Tyson. They both have their favorite few big words they like to use. Trump's is tremendous and Tyson favorite is Ludicrous.

They're scumbags because they're transparently snake oil salesmen trying to emulate shock jocks of the right.

They're in it to make a buck, policy, party, or ideology be damned. They're political entertainers, and should be treated as such.

naw I'm good, I know the video. OKeefe is hot garbage. It's good they got fired if they did that, but to say that somehow extends directly to Clinton is reaching at best.

You know it's really hard at this point not to just pass out from the stupidity of people, but look what the GOP has done. Instead of appealing to facts, science, and critical thinking they rely on emotions, scare tactics, and fear. It really is sad to see that 30% - 40% of the population can't think for themselves, do their own research, and come up with the only sane option at this point.

Yep, his M.O. is to release heavily edited videos that imply illegal actions and then eventually follow up with 3+hours of raw footage that show that no actual crimes had taken place.

The thing about these videos is that they're not that edited. Some contain long, unedited clips of that Scott Foval guy talking about some very shady shit. We shouldn't dismiss the videos just because of the source's history, that is to commit the genetic fallacy. I don't know if Clinton can be considered culpable, though.

my understanding is that to vote early/absentee you have to meet very specific criteria, such as being out of the country on november 8th, being military, elderly, ect

does this greatly vary state by state?

From what I've seen undecideds at this point are usually closet trump supporters who are too ashamed to say they support trump

They're undecided in the same way Grant Ward was undecided about if he was for Hydra or SHIELD. At a certain point, just not taking a side makes you a giant asshole in and of itself.

No kidding, Cenk in particular was was really shitty about it. In the days leading up to Clinton's nomination from the DNC he kept bringing up her "possible indictment" every five seconds. You could tell they wanted it so badly they could practically taste it.

Yes, it varies by state. In FL I actually only voted absentee as there really were no big restrictions on it.

In TX, you basically have to fall into the criteria you described or at least be away from your particular county. So this primary season was the first time I've actually ever voted at a polling station. At least it was an early vote and there were no crazy lines!
