Are the upper doors locked at first in Psychotronics? You could gloo up top and go through the broken stairs side if not.

Noticed the Black Market achievement is Ultra Rare, so here's a pretty simple guide to all locations. Man, it's worth it for all the Neuromods.
Don't get me wrong Horizon was an amazing game in it's own right. However, Prey now stands as my current GOTY, I would even say it's now in my top 10 games of all time.
Everything about Prey is just done right (in my opinion). The atmosphere, the story, the exploration, venturing down hallways and always finding something to do, the Talos 1 space station design, the alien design, the in-game sounds, the side missions, the audio logs, the notes, the inventory management, recycling, fabrication.... I just fucking love it, all of it Bioshock, System Shock, Alien Isolation and Dead Space are some of my all time favorites, and to me Prey has all the qualities that makes these games so great
I'm hoping sales are good so we can see another game in the future.
Well you sold me.. I'll be picking it up this weekend
You won't be disappointed. Just keep in mind some think the games starts a bit slow, and it sort of does, but I think the pacing is actually great. The slow moments are there for a reason.
I think that stuff was patched in later with Dishonored, so there is a chance they will do the same with Prey.
So when do I get the ability to? I heard it was a neuromod, but I don't see it in the upgrade tree.turn into objects
Advance the main story and other things unlock. Also scanning opens abilities
Which one?
I suppose it makes sensesince you can get beat the game with out Typhon abilities. The scope just tells you weaknesses and unlocks abilities.

I really wish their were detailed HUD options to tinker with. Dishonored had an insane amount of fidelity and I'm disappointed Prey does not. It would really help the immersive sim in it to not just be marking waypoints constantly.
The rooms with the broken doors seemily have no way into them. Please don't tell me I need mimic powers to get past them. I'm doing a no mimic run for my first run but also want to discover everything.
Am I missing something?
How exactly can you see what the ID number of a bracelet is?
I'm at this terminal in Deep Storage - Command center.
There's no quest for this, but I wonder what it's for.
Looks like you missed it, since you are in Guts.
When you enter Psytronicsyou need to go down into the hole in the woman's(?) bathroom. There you will find the scope to scan Typhon and gain abilities.
I'm doing a no power run and have found my way into every room except one, all that I've seen so far had an alternative route in (maintenance hatch etc). Other than the one that is, and I'm assuming I just haven't figured that out yet.

To clarify, you'll get the Psychoscope by the time you go towhich allows you to scan the Typhon enemies to unlock their abilitiesPsychotronics

Its for a couple of quests, and they tell you how to use it. No use until you have them as far as I know.
What are the consensus best alien powers to grab? I'm sitting on a bunch of neuromods.
mimic, psychoshock, mindjack, robo mindjack
After getting psychoshock, I regret putting extra points into the regular kinetic blast power as I never use it anymore. Is there any point in getting Mimic past level 1? I just use it for getting through blocked doors.
Optional quest: Disgruntled Employee
I need toLocate Grant Lockwood and he's somewhere in Talos 1 exterior. Been flying around here for a while now and can't seem to find him?
Oh and I need to go back to the Neuromod Division for a optional quest. Wasn't it said that some people run into a bug here that prevents completion of the quest? Hope I don't get that.
I... can't tell whether something is off/buggy with the scripting or the game is just letting me wander into places in directions that are way off.
I guess I'm half-way maybe a bit more? Question regarding the appearance of a certain enemy type:So I got my first quick spook by the nightmare as I got into Arboretum and I did all the stuff I could there and got the objective to go to Crew Quarters.
Now before I go there, I wanted to pop back in the lobby and hit up hardware labs again and also get the elevator sorted out. I went down the elevator and the nightmare is prowling about there just happenstance. Is... that supposed to be an intended scenario?
I think what's throwing me off is that I listened a bit to the waypoint podcast and Patrick Klepek was saying how he had a bug that had the nightmare just pop up in an unintended way and that the actual exposition for the creature was later on and I'm confused on what's going on in my end.

Just booted up the PS4 version with the new patch from today, and the input lag is fixed. Night-and-day difference. It was literally my only complaint with the game.So what is the verdict for consoles ? Passable ? Graphics are poor? Input lag ? I have both ps4 and Xbox one , should I wait for a price drop due to inferior port compared to PC ?
Here are my thoughts.
There's a lot to like, but I just got bored with the plot. Exploration for the sake of exploration didn't work for me here.
Can't say I agree with the criticisms, I feel like exploration has its purpose with a number of side quests you can find and the little stories you can read about the people in Talos 1. The plot is better than Dishonored games, though that isn't much of a high bar if you ask me

How far am I roughly? I feel like I'm playing terribly slowly, but I don't mind because I am loving this title.
just traveling up the gut toward the arboretum for the first time]
Been waiting for this! I played 5 minutes of the demo before putting it down thinking "this game plays like shit." Then I saw that it was an issue that was being worked on, and heard tons of awesome impressions on a ton of podcasts. Def interesting in picking it up now1.02 has been released on PS4, and it fixes the input lag. Just played it and it's so much better.
I'd say, if you are taking it slow, not even half way through.

On the negative side, to me it seems the new patch introduced some judder. On 1.01, I feel like G.U.T.S and Arbotetum were smooth, but running around those areas post-patch seems worse, somehow.
