Problems with ATI card - I need good TV-capture or composite video viewing software

Right now, I am having a good deal of trouble running my Xbox through by All-In-Wonder card. The video comes through fine, but I am barely getting any audio at all in my headphones. There is some audio, but it's very very very faint....not really suitable for playing games. The weird thing is that I don't remember ever having this problem before....a few months have passed since I last tried to play Xbox through the computer, and all of a sudden there are these new issues.

The extra-peculiar thing is that if I do a video capture, the finished MPEG has full-volume audio! So it looks like proper audio is definitely getting through to the PC sound card.

I am thinking that the problem has to be with ATI's software (I can't turn the volume up very high with it), so can someone recommend a program that will let me play games at full volume? Are there 3rd party solutions that will work or am I stuck with ATI's TV viewer?

My first question would be have you downloaded the Catalyst 5.3 drivers yet?

They now force the card to use digital audio, causing a ton of headaches. Most notably, the video is delayed by about 1-2 seconds, or odd audio behavior. The new WDM Integrated Driver is the cause of all this.

If you really want other software, uninstall Multimedia Center and everything to do with it. There are a few other options out there, but none will offer as many settings as MMC does.

There's CyberLink's PowerCinema, SageTV, and Snaptream, which are the most notable. Give those a try, if you want.

My drivers are dated August 30, 2004. I don't think they would have any of the recent Catalyst problems.

I downloaded a program called FlyDS, and I am still getting faint audio when I use the composite-in for Xbox. I guess that means that it isn't the software.....Any suggestions?

What program do you use to photoshop a picture?
I had different issues with my AIW connected to my pstwo months ago. Just make sure the cables are connected properly.

I checked all the connections and they seem fine enough. Any other ideas?

Is there some kind of volume-boosting program I can get, just to force the volume level up to where I can hear it properly?
