Anyone fancy listing the new cars?
Can't watch at work and I need my iPhone battery in case of porn-related emergencies.

Have you tried "activating" the SoP settings in the second tab of the car's FFB settings? Can make the corner forces feel like forza if you want that.
Also: I haven't tried that, but boosting "Fz" (a little under Master Spindle in the car's FFB settings) should make you feel the bumps and surface irregularaties more. And the Road America kerbs are supposed to be the bumpiest btw.
Needs Ferrari 458. GTR. Supra. Silvia, WRX. It needs it badly!
I actually forgot to adjust the FFB for the car I was in. Did that and I feel it now. So silly that I can't just universally set my settings for all cars.

With the exception of a weather forecast that would help you with picking the right tires, these informations are more in the "nice to know" category (more feature than bug).
If they were meant to be hidden then SMS really shouldn't have bothered modelling those parameters at all. In fact, actually having them modelled, but concealed, is actually worse than not modelling them at all.
Example: wonder why your car feels light and pulls slightly to the left down a certain long straight on a certain track on a certain day? Baffling, isn't it? You'll be scratching your head all day. Turns out there's a 40mph tail-wind at 30 degrees to your car. It's why tracks have wind socks out on display for everyone to see (and not hidden behind a third-part app on only one platform, goddamnit!).
Are you on PC? You can by using a tweaker file. Its discussed earlier in this thread.
I made a barebones group, only 10 people so far. Quote for URL. *edit* Augh bottom of page for 50-posts-per-page people.
The main handy thing is coordinating races through the Steam group chat. I assume we could also add links, occasional event reminders, or whatever if people are interested.

Are you using manual clutch?Has anyone unlocked the I am the 5% trophy? Just won a few races online and didn't get it. I started on Pro settings and I'm enabling all the necessary options.
Are you using manual clutch?
My personal #1 bug that should be fixed is the save-time for a change in the options menu, which (on Xbox One at least) sometimes takes 1 second, but every third time or so it takes almost 2 minutes. I want that even more fixed than the rev-sound bug on Xbox One. My #1 "feature" that should be added is a better time-trial board that lets me see the times of my friends and also how many people overall have tried their luck in a car class (is it good to be on the 256th spot in a community even? Or were there only 500 people trying it? At the moment you can't know). Time-trial car classes are also pretty off for the road cars as Soundscream mentioned before.
That track is soooooooooo narrow. Far worse than all the other already narrow oldschool GP European tracks. The Superkarts are essentially paper airplanes with wheels and rockets attached and should never be driven by any real person, ever, due to risk of catastrophic death. They're slightly less annoying if you get rid of the steering deadzone on the controller so your movements aren't all jolting, but those things have no right being a second season vehicle, especially not with the very tame Formula Rookie and Gulf the next 2 years.I just rage quit on this very track. The Dubai cup before was a piece of cake, won both races with 10+ seconds to spare. I was thinking about upping the difficulty a bit. But then this track came and my kart responds like shit. And once you've hit the grass just a tiny bit you're off and everyone drives past you to be never seen again. I'll try again tomorrow
Little work around on the save thing...
Instead of backing out of menu after making your changes, Hit the start button after you make your changes and select "options & help" it takes you right back to menu and saves the changes instantly.
Overall though very pleased with the performance.
I'm not sure if it's necessary, but that's the only thing I can think of.Manual transmission, auto clutch. Kept it that way since it was default. Will try again with manual clutch.
How do I view the ghost data for other people in the community events. Pressing x using t500 brings up their psn card and I have to back out of it using the ds4
My times aren't always being uploaded either. Not getting any off track warnings.
I want to view the top guys' ghosts so I know where I need to improve lol.It seems you can't (but maybe it's better that way, I don't want to know what cheat-corner-cutting some people used, would demotivate me to get better).
Yesterday I had a 52.616 in the clio cup race. Exit. Game freezes. Close application, game restart, I check my event time: 53.7xx ,
I tweak my dif and suspension and try it again, 52.477, cool!, exit, game freezes, close application, game restart, I check my time: 53.7xx -.-
I try it again, takes me 8 laps to get to 52.642, exit, game doesn't freeze, I hit X on the leaderboard and it lists 52.477.
Seems like it always saved my time, even when it froze, just that sometimes it takes longer to show up on the board.
don't forget to edit set up before a race or in garage... You can smooth out the steering on some cars that are super twitchy. I found that it's necessary for some, especially road cars to slow down steering responseAwesome game with one problem, at least on PS4 with DS4.
You can't control the cars with any continuity. Which, for a driving game is kinda important.
For two days now it has been a constant battle to get a consistent response from the controls. It is absolutely maddening how much time you have to spend bouncing in and out of races into the settings to try and get some sort of baseline. Lather rinse repeat every time you jump in a different car.
Lap times update each hour or so, I think. So, once the time is done, don't worry, it will upload eventually,I want to view the top guys' ghosts so I know where I need to improve lol.
Yeah seems very buggy I did a 52.073 a few sessions ago and after quitting it hadn't uploaded. After a few more frustrating sessions of not getting near it I quit again and the 52.073 was there.
Weird.
On a separate note; is throttle blipping necessary in this game? Only ever played FM and GT before where it wasn't really needed. I'm trying to teach myself atm but don't really know how much of a "blip" is necessary if that makes sense.

Oh, and I love how the driver's head is the roll hoop in the gif and managed to show a case where the driver would most certainly have died in a real setting. Good times. I bet the thing drove just fine with no discernible change in behavior after the crash. I'm convinced the rear wing is an optical illusion on that car.
I can't understand the complaints about lack of grip.
I read on a forum that people couldn't keep the P1 in a straight line, even on the straight, I just took it round Donington for 10 laps and it grips like shit to a blanket!!
Using a DS4 controller is there a way to make long fast turns (like Monza for example) without having to "tap" the analog stick in order to keep a the same line?
I understand having to do that with a keyboard, but with the analog stick I would expect it to behave like an analog input.
