I don't think paying protesters is needed at this point because the biggest protests are in big cities that are heavily democrat leaning so there are enough disgruntled Hillary and Bernie supporters to get a crowd. No need to pay them.

After hearing Trump supporters before the election saying they would take firearms to attack the government should Clinton prevail because it was a constitutional right, the positive thing is that a huge majority protesters are non-violent.

After this campaign, I can't see how it could be resolved pacifically. I hope it won't escalate.

Don't lose heart if protests let up. There's plenty ahead to protest. Inauguration day should have a large anti-trump turnout
