if you have trouble with Japanese PSN, you can always make a Hong Kong account and use it in English, same Namco Beta on there

On the Namco Museum, what is that ___ points until the next level?
What happens when you reach the next level, and how do you do it?
I've got 300/400 points so far... I guess you get 50 for playing the games and 100 for beating each of them.
 
Now that a lot more people are in Home I kind of regret using a female considering I get followed, constantly get asked where I'm from, tons of messages from random people with stuff like "wanna talk at my place", etc. I can't even sit down in a corner and be left alone.

I'm pretty sure home money doesn't translate to real money... isn't ten dollars 10,000 dollars in home? Also don't trophies=money?

My wife had the same experience. Very, very uncool.
 
That stuff definitely costs real money... and trophies don't translate to any kind of home currency unfortunately (was just an unfortunate rumor, along with dynamic weather)

The arcade units come from being in the Namco Arcade Beta (available on the jpn pstore), though you cannot actually play the arcade units within home unless you got an actual beta invite for the namco arcade beta.
 
When I wasn't virtually molesting strangers, I ran around shouting "the agents are coming", but I also made a shout out to gaf members. I found Rapping Granny, but that's it.

Have you tried it with the JP account, I've seen many people on gaf who did not get invited to the closed beta comment on how it works with their JP account (just like us with the closed beta).

Shit, it was a really bad idea to send both gamefly games back today. Now all I have left to play is Home as I'm so bored of the games I own. :(

Btw what was so special about the Siren Room? I was there for a second then everyone else disappeared. Any new items?

The JP Theatre is totally different from the US one. Just watching the WKC extended trailer on it and the seats are like space capsule types lol.

Someone should list the current differences per egions what do u think?
 
From what I've seen... girls will suffer like crazy in Home.

Guys from all over the world will run to and bother the living daylights out of any female avatar in Home. They might not even be female at all too.

I don't know what the solution is but frankly its TERRIBLE.

Maybe they should allow cartoon avatars or something.
 
My favorite thing about home is looking like a pedophile and standing in between people having a conversation.

People will just learn to get over it or learn to deal with it. It's no different than MMOs or chat rooms...

It's just another random room. I can't remember the code, someone shouted it at the bar and I entered it. Just ask and someone should tell you.
 
One of the codes if 41675. That's the top left one. But there seem to be 3 separate codes from what I can tell...the other 2 say invalid when I try those...

edit:someone just said 1024 1577383.

Those could be the other 2 codes, but I can't get to a keypad to try them...lol, can anyone confirm?

I've said it for a while now, I'll say it again - Home™ needs to be like walking into the Cantina in the original Star Wars movies.

There's absolutely no reason for this dull uniformity in a virtual world.

Sackpeople should be running around at knee height to the stupid human avatars, Helghast should be marching through the Central Plaza, Eucadians and Chernovans mingling with the crowd.

So on and so forth.

Let players pick a model they enjoy. Not only will it make Home more visually interesting, but it will help players find other players with similar interests more easily!

Go chat with that group of Chernovans over there, and set up a game.

Actually... the way you've conjured that imagery sounds pretty cool.
 
I like that idea bandit. There was a Ratchet and Clank outfit they used to show a lot. More stuff like that would be neat. And just more options / customization in general.

So over the top.. I didn't know so many famous v.a.'s are in it... kinda cool. check it.
 
Bowling is fun. Too much fun.

I bowled my first 200 this evening. Wish I could do that in real life. Oh, and so much for 'real' games. I spent like 6 hours in Home today. So far so good. They are going to need to add content like mad, though.

It was you guys? :( I didn't deal with this before but now I see how it's annoying. Luckily I have my friends with me. When it gets annoying, they come to the rescue :D

Home was fun! I like it and had lots of funny chats. Everyone was doing the running man at one time :lol
 
This is so embarrassingly bad. I can't believe this is what Sony came out with. I bow to the beta testers impressions. Steaming, hot, ahem...I mean, brain dead boring 99 cent ugly ass couch bad second life impression.
