I should note that Home is only up for people that are already in the beta. There doesn't seem to be anything in terms of being able to download the user client yet. Probably really shortly I imagine.
 
I think the eC refers to the saucer pop* game or something, because it says "Based on a game rated by the ESRB".

EDIT: Wow the new Plaza looks great.
EDIT2: Saucer Pop's pretty fun. It's kinda laggy because everyone's around the fountain at the moment watching, but... yeah... pretty cool game.
 
Well, saucer pop looks cool..but boy do I suck at it..

It's pretty neat playing an embedded game like that and seeing everyone around etc..

If there is profanity you're encouraged to report it to the in-Home mods. Moderation is taken pretty seriously.
 
It may just be my imagination, but I think load times might be a little faster now with space loading. I just left the theatre for the central plaza, and it was ready faster than I expected based on the previous beta.

It might only be my imagination though, I'd be curious if anyone else thinks so..

Both. There's a filter on text though, I think. I've never actually heard anyone swear in home though, over voice.

Oh boy. They may have fucked up Clubs. It costs $4.99 to have a club period. Not just for the Clubhouse. And it's $4.99 right now but they explicitly say they're going to have an undetermined fee in the future that will be due every thirty days.
 
When someone not previously in the Beta sees the Home icon please shout out.
(You need to reboot the machine after it's turned On to see it)
 
There don't seem to be any new items in the stores either..which is a bit meh..even if they are slightly pricey :p I was hoping for some 'stuff' items at least.

Same, if you hear or see profanity you're encouraged to report it. People will be temporarily banned I would imagine for first offense, and so on. Good rule of thumb is just don't say it if you're in doubt.

The world view is interesting in that the way it's arranged suggests games can actually have multiple spaces..indeed Far Cry 2 seems to have 2 currently.

edit - also, different esrb ratings come up when you go to different spaces..the far cry 2 one has a M rating, I guess based on the game.

Weird. So basically, buy the club and it's always yours. But you can't actually use it unless you pay the monthly fee. Poor taste.

Fucking Sony - Can't beleive they didn't work out the media use before the Open Beta release. No picture frames, TVs, Radios.

TV and Music streaming is not in there yet, and may not be. Legalities, legalities..

That's not an excuse. This has been announced for almost two years now and they've had plenty of time to iron out the issues. At least they could've made the media personal only (i.e. - not shown for other users but yourself). As is - the Home apt is a barren ikea wankroom.
