PS3 Home Official Thread

Anybody notice any weird glitches in the EA poker room last night? It ended one game prematurely, froze another, wouldn't let anyone play on an empty table and I was chatting with one person who said that he won on the red table but instead of getting the gold bracelet it said that TexasGirl won the game and she wasn't even on the table :lol If you notice she is on the leaderboard for total winnings.
 
Anyone know a really good site for help on the Xi challenges that has active updates?

There is a code in the Presentation Podium of home for a free T-Shirt right now, and apparently there will be more freebies, so go home! Or go to the Official PS3 Home boards to find out the code(s)
 
The conference (part 1) is up on the podium. With the new patch the video instantly streams from Home...no more waiting for the video to download. It's actually really awesome.

Anyway the spaces are infamous, socom a ghostbusters appartment and a boxing ring fight night attachment to the ea sports complex, the socom space had 2 really fun mini games and the infamous had a lightning shooter mini game, im really excited about the future of home, and i cant wait for them to be released!!! i really hope i have not spoiled anything...

I really hope they release a free picture frame at some point. It's good to see photo sharing finally in Home, but I am not paying money for that.

I imagine it should give you a almost infinite amount like everything in a Home space.

edit- only 4 for the default space and chamber can have 10.

3 bucks adds the frame to your inventory, meaning you can use it as many times as you like inside your apartment or clubhouse.

Paying for added functionality seems reasonable to me, much more reasonable than paying a dollar for a wig or 5 bucks for a new room.

I'll probably splurge and pick it up, I want to toss pictures of my kids up on the wall in my apartment.
 
Can you change the size at will, and can you post any pictures in them, changing them at will? So if you really wanted to show pictures, you could go around and switch them out?

Oh and I checked out the sony conference in the presentation podium. Staring at a virtual screen displaying a video with 4 smaller screens on it is mind-blowingly silly. :lol

It is only one size but can be rotated.You can use any photo on the HDD and can change them.
 
the thing is... enough people will buy it... and it made maybe 5 hours to code and implement it :P . it's like the 200$ app for the iphone which just shows a diamond. there are always dozens of ppl who buy such things...
 
I'll wait till a free frame comes out via a promotion or something, because as much as I love Home, I'm NOT paying for the ability to use my own pictures on it.
