Yeah im sure thats the same code doing the rounds yesterday, the european home community manager said something similar would be happening for europe soon, bet its hidden in the new home square or something.

if its a home item it will appear in your wardrobe , if its a game or demo code yes it will show up in your download list.

This will give you 4 items. 2 shirts, 1male/1female; 2 Move sets, 1 male/1female....

when you redeem the code, it shows you that, click ok and you will see the rest of the stuff! DL free items shhheeess!
 
The move controller is really cool, less fussed about the t-shirts. Wouldn't be surprised if they try and charge for the controller in europe :(

(the AK is a free gift from the second Socom space when you disassemble an AK47, in detail btw)

activating the Hustle Kings game will change view to top down and you have to place your avatar near the giant billiard balls w/o getting hit.


I didn't even try all the new minigames etc.
if you connect to Home for the first time/after a long time, you will bascially need days to see&try everything, especially if you want to get all the free stuff.
 
Fuck. The code isn't working :( Must be all used up.

If anyone finds the links to add them via the PS3 browser, please post them. (Like the old Killzone suit links)
 
The Fever space kick game is a lot of fun. I hit all but one target. :(

Oh and I can't believe that after all this time the Siren space is STILL packed to the gills with no queue system available.
 
I just got my wife a PS3 and she is trying to install home but when she starts it up it takes her to a screen that says she needs to set aside HDD space for home, she has tried both options but neither one works, it just is stuck on that screen. Does anyone know how it fixes this?

delete and reinstall fixes things whenever home has an error. even if it isn't fully installed give it a go.

I haven't heard about HOME in quite some time so I was wondering whats been up with it

It's still called beta, but yeah, it's been available to anyone for about a year now.

still Beta? Damn what the hell. I didn't see it talked about at E3, but then again I only watched half of Sony's conference. Is Sony second guessing themselves on HOME?

Not at all. The service is getting bigger and better every week. Lots of new spaces added. Lots of content. Lots of people in there every day. And lots of money for Sony and publishers going by the amount of premium content I see been purchased.

I don't know why they still call it beta, but it really isn't. It's an evolving service.

Check it out for yourself.

No, they're just making money with it and don't give much of a shit anymore. No reason to bust their balls developing x y & z for it if it has a huge community who are spending the bones daily..

Its still beta the way Gmail was beta for years. And even when they went non beta, people clamored they wanted the beta label back so its now an option to relabel it beta if you want.
 
Just a heads up...the E3 2010 Home space is getting removed around 2-3 AM EST time.(whenever the servers go offline) So go take picks or enjoy it while it lasts!!

Also the special E3 space "VIP rewards" are back just for today! So if you havent got all of them or never did and miss the chance, now its your chance! Just watch the 7 videos on the E3 Home floor and get access to the VIP area, go up there + remain there and watch the other videos and get 3 exclusive items! (1 rug, 1 sofa and 1 cool DS3 table...yes a controller thats a table lol)

Pretty cool rewards that will probably wont be there tomorrow or ever again!

It says what it has in the PS Store, but it's one of the apartments, five costumes (It says them but I can't remember) and some items including the 3.00 picture frame. It's worth 20.00 apparently.

1. Paris Clocktower Apartment

2. Furniture items is all it says but it's a set of FOUR Summer House Pack! (this sounds like a lot of items, and people say it is)

3. Harbor Studio Picture Frame

4. 5 female Outfits = Luchadora, Skydiver, Ice Skater, Medieval Armor, Hamster.

5. 5 Male Outfits= Mortorcross, Medieval Armor, Bowling, Fighter Pilot, Hamster.
 
went ahead and bit the starter pack.

Bullshit on the "a lot of items." I got a black sofa, footrest, chair and table. That's it.

Oh, "four summer house pack", four pieces of furniture. meeeh
