No. Same slow speeds for me as well. I also had the same DL issue with Flower that you had with FIFA.
As far as game updates, I've been downloading at night via standby mode to lessen the frustration factor with the slow DL speeds.

According to another Gaffer, Comcast upgraded their speeds, at least in NJ. I used the speed test app on my phone. I went from 15mbps to 30. I reset my modem and bam! My download speeds are on point.

Oh here is a suggestion...

I wish we could favorite friends. You know, add stars to certain next tgeir names. Since you can now have 2000 people on your list, going through that takes time. For instance, there are a few people that I know and play with all the time. Plus, it would be nice for me to put priority, on say, those who live on my state. It could be for any reason. It would make it much easier to find those who you spend more time with or those who have higher priority, for whatever reason.

Make sure you step out of party chat if you want your DL's to speed up.

I've been having a blast with the PS4. Even my less diehard friends who haven't played stuff like Warframe can't believe how fun it is for an f2p game.

So many games. I think I'm up to around 8~.

This has been the best launch ever.

I guess I should have looked for the demos on launch day! The FW update, patches, and the free Plus games came in pretty fast when I first used the console.

EDIT: Download speeds are restored (for me at least)! I queued the FIFA 14 demo from the web store and just took my PS4 out of standby mode. It's going at around 2MB/s for now.

My biggest issue is I have 3 retail games I am not touching because I can't stop playing Resogun! Though my daughter wont quit playing Knack so I guess thats good.

Hey, has anyone been able to wake their PS4 from Standby with their Vita? I have the Allow waking of PS4 from Network setting on, but my Vita hangs on the "Turning on the PS4 system..." stage and then errors out eventually.

I have to say that I am very happy with the PS4. Great controller. Simple UI with a ton of features, and great running games. So long as PSN is sorted out in the relatively near future, I'm not going to hold those hiccups against Sony. We have all come to expect growing pains from online launches and anyone who expected something different this go around was fooling themselves.

Nope... Not just you. Same situation happened with me. Kept kicking me out to main screen.

And what's with not being able to delete items from the library? I'd like to permanently delete demos, for example, when completed.

Is anyone having a problem with Trophy notifications not appearing? A non-GAF friend of mine is having this issue. Trophies are unlocking but he's not being notified. And he does have the notification enabled.

It takes me about 8 seconds from launch to menu on my SSD Hybrid. Load times across every game have been really good. The longest loading game is probably NFS Rivals but even that is pretty good all things considered.

One things for sure, I'm not gonna be able to deal with this packaged headset. Gotta get one ASAP, might Wait for some black Friday deals/cyber Monday

Having key tones off in the audio settings seems to have turned off the trophy notification ding.

Is that right or did I miss another setting somewhere else?

I advise anyone to disconnect from PSN right now. Nothing was loading for me, and even basic tasks like closing a game would hang. My PS4 is trying to turn off now as we speak, white LED is pulsating and a circle is spinning on my TV.

I haven't had any issues with download speeds. I downloaded the new assassins creed off of PSN last night in about 30 minutes.

No issues here. Ive woken up my PS4 several times with my VITA in the past couple days... Havent tried it with WiFi yet though

Odd. I'm just using the Connect to PS4 Directly in the settings, so I dunno what's up. Not a big deal.

My "What's New" section never seems to work. Every now and then I'll be able to see it, but most of the time it just doesn't load.

Know issue or is my console being lame?

I started the PS+ 30 day trail that came with my PS4. If I use a code on a 3 month card, will it just add it to the end of my 30-day trial?

Anyone else having issues with the codes they received from games and the system?

I'm currently unable to redeem the 7 day PS+ codes that came with Killzone and with NBA 2K. Also unable to redeem the Music Unlimited code.

The limiting factor is the TV here. I've not seen a TV that will output surround through optical from an HDMI input.

My Music Unlimited code won't work, the $10 SEN code did.
