I'm sure the answer is no, but has anybody asked the Sony higher ups about Sony eventually supporting external HDDs.

I really want to go all digital, but I like to keep my games installed so I can store them (especially for when the next console eventually comes out).

When I start any game (KZ or Knack in this case) the PS4 gets quite loud only after a few minutes of playtime. The console gets a bit hot too.

I have it placed in a standard TV set shelve where the breathing space is not too great, but it's not like it's too tight. Has anybody with a loud console placed in a similar shelve as mine tested it on top of the TV set to see if it doesn't get as loud?

I haven't been able to try and wanted to get some feedback.

Yeah tried putting the code in at the redeem screen when I entered the music unlimited app but didn't go through. I'm suspecting its the fact I already used a trial code before on the PS3

You can simply end a recording by pressing Share.

I think you can do it from the PSN store through your web browser.

Account settings through here should do it. It will ask you to log in your SEN account and allow you to remove payment options.

Does anyone use Music Unlimited?

I love being able to listen to my playlists while playing Resogun and Need for Speed: Rivals -- however every song that plays will stop and start (to buffer?) a bunch of times during the song. Super frustrating

I know it isn't my connection. Does this happen to anyone else? I've just been assuming it has something to do with PSN's spottiness, but I'm curious if it's just me.

I had this happen a couple times yesterday while listening to a couple albums. I assume it was due to heavy traffic on that app's servers. I'm actually really surprised with Music Unlimited and might actually subscribe. I tried it back when it launched on PS3 and hated it due to all the limitations, but it has truly evolved into a very good music program and while I've only used it a few times, I have yet to search for a song/album it couldn't find.

Quick reviews on the Power A controller charger and the Rocketfish headset:

Charger:

- Very light, comes with a power cable that's pretty long. It's a tiny brick plug, so you might need a socket with some room around it.

- The dock auto aligns with the DS4 and you have to click down to engage the charging. Once you click down it locks the controller in place. Really nice touch. Recommended, feels like a 1st party device, may actually be better than Sony's own dock that they didn't release in NA due to the click in thing. Only thing I wish was that the two controllers were facing you instead of one facing you and facing away from you.

Headset:

- Mono speaker works fine but the sound sounds a bit scratchy. The mic seems to be busted though, can't chat in game. Build quality ain't that great. May return it and buy something better (possibly a 3rd party headset with a 3.5mm jack).

- It's also very uncomfortable and for my big head it barely fits. Not recommended.

yeah, why isn't this the default setting? i switched it to that too.

Most people wouldn't get how the button works if it defaulted to a screenshot capture without a menu. The way it is right now it just works if you're just interested in sharing what you just saw and if you're annoyed by the behavior there's a press options for settings in the corner.

dont know if its been thrown out there but just in case....

if you have a 2 player game going on.. say cod split screen online... both controllers can have mics plugged in so both people can hear the chat audio.. just make sure to mute the second player input to not get echo

Not possible to install games like on 360 and xbone but why not try digital games like Warframe and Resogun to see if your fans are truly going crazy

It's NBA2k14 but only if you are into basketball. Out of Madden and FIFA I'd go FIFA every time.

I never use standby mode because I am always fearful of power outages which tend to happen a lot in my house around winter.

It can be changed with the port forwarding guide I posted above. My friend had NAT 3 on his PS3 and I followed that guide and it changed to a NAT 2.

Yeah, I'm not really a big basketball guy. I've heard that the NBA 2k games are excellent though. Are they really not all that enjoyable if you're not huge into basketball? That's what i like most about FIFA, even people that aren't too into sports enjoy it a ton.

Something like this? with a headset with mic that has separate jack? i have a pair of trittons that split off for audio/mic and wondering if i can rig it up this way.

Same, very curious to see if this works - I've got a nice pair of PC headphones lying around that would work well.

I've used some earbuds plugged in to the controller audio, and even that sounds just fine in Battlefield.

Thanks for this review, it's good to hear. Amazon is backordered on it, but I'm going to grab one when they're back in stock. Too bad about the wall wart plug, but I suppose I'll figure something out.

i do. some moron drove into a power line yesterday in the city and knock the power out several blocks. i was on my desktop which has a ups, so i was able to save stuff and shut it down properly, my ps4 downstairs on standby wasn't so lucky. it prompted me a warning that it was not properly shutdown, data loss might incurred etc. luckily nothing happened. it's not like cold boot takes that much time, i'm perfectly ok with it.

I'd say 2k14. I have Madden too. Madden looks absolutely janky, but it is pretty fun. I'm loving the next gen running game. I can't recommend it at $60, but if you can find it for a deal it's not all that bad minus the poor graphics.

On your PS4 it's under Settings>PSN> Account Info>Service List. Select PS+ and there's a big button to disable auto renewal at the bottom.

I getting like 14 Mbps in my internet connection test with PS4 which is seems very low for wireless N since I get consistently around 40+ Mbps on my iPhone 5 on my wifi, I have Verizon Quantum. I reset the modem and tried other things, anyone else seeing similar speeds?

I leave it in standby. Nothing beats the convenience of automatically downloaded and installed game patches and other updates. Also I never know when I'm going to want to queue something up from my phone.
