That was disabled to reduce the workload on the servers and preventing PSN from crashing. They will get back up once the Europe launch is over.

This. They have preemptively disabled it. It crapped out during the NA launch. It works fine now. It should be back up for EU within a week.

To those who have Shadow Fall…

A few basic 101 tips…

- Use your OWL a LOT. Especially it's shield ability.
- Shoot in bursts and generally switch weapons instead of reloading.
- Swap your pistol for one of the other Assault rifles or shotties whenever you can.
- Press up on the d-pad constantly for checkpoint marker viewings.
- Hold right on the d-pad for a few seconds to see through walls (but not too long that it gives you away).
- In the dark areas, swipe up for OWL fire mode, and just keep pressing L1 to order him around. Then hold L1 to bring him back. He will be your guiding torch light.
- Stealth is better than all out guns blazing.
- Listen carefully for tasks. Sometimes you'll be fighting waves and waves of enemies unless you heard the command telling you what to do next (e.g. get in the ship).
- Crouch to use the cover system where you can. It will auto cover behind low walls.

You have to have your name requested for it to show to others.

There should be a 14 day PS+ trial available to use on the PSN store itself. There is at least for Ireland and UK.

Pro Tip:

Don't get rid of the PS4's box, as it is quite possibly the greatest console carrying case I have ever owned! I went to visit family for Thanksgiving today, and everything just slips right back into the box nice and snug with zero hassle. Just slip the cardboard braces back on the console, put it in it's place, and then there is a dedicated compartment for the small amount of cords and the controller. As a bonus, there is already a handle built in too. So yeah, hold onto that thing just in case.

The light strip should be white while the PS4 is in use. It turns blue while it's powering on, and it stays orange while in standby.

The Library is the de facto download list now.

You cannot customize the main menu, unfortunately.

If at one point you had PS Plus, regardless of when or how long, the 14 day trial will not work. It simply won't let you get past the redeem screen. There's no message of error, it will simply refuse to progress.


Which is a dick move, I might add. Not sure why they're doing this.

Hate to tell this to you but it's unlikely there will be any stock left in Finland after today... your best chance is to find a store that takes new preorders for the next available batch. Also, is the store down for anyone else just now? And why can't I open my library? It worked earlier, but now it just hangs on a blank screen (just the wallpaper in the background). It doesn't crash the system though, my games just never appear. I press the PS button and get back to the dash.
