EDIT: I think the HDD is busted, I have the recovery file on a usb stick and it keeps saying that no USB stuff is plugged in, oh boy...

Does Killzone support saving check points? It seems to boot me always to the beginning of the chapter when I swap games and return back later.

When you go to upload a video, you can edit it. You don't have to upload it after you edit it, the edited version will still be there if you don't upload it right away.

I'm guessing he meant Mbps cause I have fast internet and this 323MB update is taking 2 hours on my friend's PS4. He brought his over hoping for us to play battlefield together on our ps4s

I use the TV remote via HDMI-CEC ("control for HDMI") to control movie playback. Works fine with the UI as well, but unfortunately not in Netflix.
I just wish you could also put movies on hold like the apps.

You don't need the camera, just use the mic it came with with or whatever you use with mp. You will notice in the left bottom corner of the 'home' screen it will give you an example when it picks up a sound.

Well I'm not sure if I get your question right but the the Vita can act as a Dualshock 4 replacement in games that can be locally played with two or more controllers anyway. I played the FIFA 14 demo like this with a friend. It won't work however if the game doesn't have split-screen or some form of "one screen" multiplayer like FIFA, NBA etc...
All you have to do is having two User Accounts on your PS4, start Remote Play and log-in with yours, then your brother picks up the DS4 and logs in with the second one, though the Vita won't work as a second fullscreen replacement which I assume is what you wanted :/
I am, and no issues with the PS4.
Am I satisfied that I'm running 720p? No. But that's hardly the PS4 fault. That's my wife and a crappy Ikea entertainment centre that limits my TV size to 37" or so. Won't bother upgrading until I replace the unit with something that can support 50"+ screens. =)

i'm really enjoying my ps4. it's an awesome, awesome system. the ui and os features are great and the games have surpassed my hype. unfortunately, the rubber on my left thumbstick is starting to rip/deteriorate. i just noticed it tonight. i hope sony resolve this issue soon as otherwise i really like the ds4 (and sony controllers have typically been my least favorite).
also, i picked up the turtle beach p4c headset and, for whatever reason, the os voice commands do not work with it. they work fine with the the earbud/mic combo sony included with the system. i hope the headset situation gets resolved quickly as well.

Yup, did a bunch of tests and nothing works. My power went out and it fucked up the hard drive So should I send it back or is there a way to test that shit there and not wait too long? Never had to return hardware before so I don't know if I should go back to Best Buy or what... any tips?

I'm still not sure if I should open my copy of NBA 2K14, as I'm not in the know when it comes to basket ball but on the other side I would like to try out other sports.
I think I'm settling on Call of Duty: Ghosts, NBA 2K14, FIFA 14 and Killzone: Shadow Fall for launch - though I kinda like Knack too.

I'm really satisfied. Been playing Bf4 and Ghosts a lot, those two games look way better than ps3 versions even on 720p tv.
I think my Output Res is set to "Automatic" (1080p), so my tv downscales that resolution to 720p. Now some people say that tv downscaling gives you more input lag? But I don't feel any input lag at all. Works really smoothly.

So I just created a UK account to download war thunder. It's downloading no problem but the game has a little lock symbol next to the download bar on the game square. Does that mean I'm locked out of it and can't play it, or is just because it hasn't finished downloading yet?
you probably haven't activated your ps4 as your primary system with the UK account. do that and the lock symbol should go away

Go to settings > Storage Management > Captures.
You can sort by either videos only, screens only or both. Plus sorting and delete, delete all options etc. You hit option to preview cautiously screen, and triangle to quickly hide or show the capture details.
Also, if you don't want the game constantly video recording, you can change the share button options, so a quick press does a screen capture and a long press brings up the menu, instead of the default quick press brings up the menu and records, whilst long press does capture.

Okay, the FUCK is up with the share button in BF4...
I got the best collateral no-scope from 50 miles away I think I will EVER get and hit the share button (just once, set to standard) to get the last 15 minutes. Keep playing, game ends. I got the 6:58 after I did it... what?
So I went in to a game to try it again to see if I could get the last 15 minutes... nope. Just keeps starting recording (though the logo doesn't pop up in the top right?). So now I have about 10, under 1 minute clips, of me trying every setting to get the last 15 minutes and I couldn't do it.
I don't know WHAT THE HELL is wrong but holy crap I'm so mad I lost that clip.
EDIT: It also happened to a friend who got the funniest ATV kill and a Slug headshot from like 300m and he was livid as well.

Yeah, I'd like to know what's wrong too. It was one of the most hyped features of the PS4, but gameplay recording doesn't seem to work as it should atm.
Yeah seems like there are some bugs they need to iron out a bit with the video capture.
Yesterday I was playing Black Flag and there was a cool fight I wanted to record so I hit the share button - and the video has the right thumbnail, the hour matches, but for some reason the video itself is some random gameplay (12:38 of it to be precise) from like an hour or two before that... Weird. That was the only time it happened to me so far.

Absolutely loving this machine, took about 25 minutes to take out the HDD and put int he new 1TB then install the latest 1.51 firmware. I've had a couple of crashes when going to view FIFA screenshots and also is BF4 bugged? when I go in to the share options and back out it seems to have moved me on in the level and i'm not where I was when I pressed the share button.
Picked up a camera in Game £60!! Had already ordered one online for £40 so when it arrives I'll go back to Game and get my money refunded. They were gouging people pretty bad as 'apparently' the only bundles they had were priced at £550 and £600!
Anyway here is an early photo of all my games getting on with downloading.

I got two 3m USB charging cables for 10 euro with my PS4 after all the stories here, but so far I have only used the packed in one. I gamed all weekend, and think some DS4s here are broken or something, because most people report around 8h of non-stop use, which is good enough imho.

You got lucky then, I was at the Bluewater store in Kent and they were telling people they only had the more expensive bundles left which were the standard KZ bundle with no camera COD/FIFA/AC and Wolverine I think. felt so bad knowing that they were claiming they only had those when clearly they could sell the KZ bundle on it's own.
I just need to order a second controller now and I will be happy, worked out about £30 more than my Amazon bundle would have been but I'm just happy to have it before Christmas now!
