Edit: My Gamestop had 11 extras, my friend was 8th in line at 6pm to buy. Success.
Eh. still more fringe than hockey. Though it's catching on. I follow the PL myself. So do a bunch of people I know.

I'm not sure if that's why.I know there are a few American football players in the premiership now.
How big is football (or soccer) in America now? I doubted it would catch on because Americans like huge scores in games.
I'm not sure if that's why.
I notice a bunch of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U fans. Occasional Man City and Tottenham fans though.

Lame mine is at Walmart. Thats a good deal. Plus there is 10 in the box.
VG Chartz says 10% of global sales. Not that big, I guess.
10% of the huge sales FIFA gets in quite significant ... And where have you been hiding?
It's a one night thing, and it requires the purchase of a PS4.

The PlayStation 4 Greatness has arrived. This is the place for gamers with connected gaming, powerful graphics and speed, intelligent personalization, deeply integrated social capabilities, and innovative second-screen features.
While the PS4 heralds in the next generation of consoles, Kindle Fire HDX does the same for tablets with improved visuals, a faster processor, and the revolutionary 'Mayday' button.
Partner these together with the interactive Second Screen feature for a completely immersive entertainment experience.
There probably won't be many Gamestop lines. I waited maybe 15 minutes to get a number that I have to bring back at midnight and I'll just be able to walk out with a PS4.Where are all the line pics? Come on guys.
It's just weird to see FIFA doing so well in America.
Yeah in raw numbers it definitely is quite significant. I just meant relative to Europe, which is ~ 65% of global sales.
Just been trying to get all my work out of the way so that I can take Friday off!

Two reasons. 2. Soccer is huge amongst kids. This generation of American kids are playing it substantially more than previously. Travel soccer is extremely competitive.
Got my receipt, #4. Showed up at 5pm. There are about 6 non preorder campers. The manager game them the ok to stay since they will have extra, they'll just have to wait until all the preorders are done at midnight, or probably 1am, and then they can buy one. One person showed up pretty recently, maybe 4pm and apparently he's getting one according to the manager here.
Did anybody that's been to GameStop get asked about a warranty? I'd consider getting one if it wasn't too much money, but I have a limit of about $40 on a warranty. I don't mind being safe, but I rarely ever actually use one so I'm curious if they are offering and for how much.
Two reasons.
1. It's the best sports game on the market. I know some will argue, but overall, it is for many reasons.
2. Soccer is huge amongst kids. This generation of American kids are playing it substantially more than previously. Travel soccer is extremely competitive.
