For reference, how did you like Red Dead Redemption? I feel like these guys are trying to marry RDR with Uncharted, and they do pretty well in some parts...

Good goddamn is Remote Play so so nice! Played some ACIV, a bit of FIFA, and some Warframe. SO smooth. It makes me want to finally upgrade to a better router though... get a bit more distance.
Also, has anyone else played Warframe on the Vita? The controls were not at all what they said they were... said L2 was back touchsceen and it was left dpad for 'example. With no way to actually set your own buttons I think it is a bit too wonky on Remote Play =(

So I noticed that when switching my audio output settings from HDMI to optical or LPCM to Bitstream that my headset makes a popping noise. Not normally big deal right?
But for all of my PS4 recorded videos using the share button there is always the same popping noise at the beginning of the clip. Is audio in the DMB using a different audio mode then from gameplay/videos? I guess its similar to the PS3?
Ugh its annoying that this gets captured in the share and I have to export to Youtube to edit it out. Nothing I can do about this I suppose outside of doing my share uploads while not using my headset? Anyone else running into this issue?

I previously pre ordered a PS4 with ASDA for Day One delivery but was silly and though I didn't want one. So, I gave it to a friend for the £20 deposit I paid.
Now, I've decided I would rather like a PS4 and if possible on release day...but I'm not willing to pay more than £385 for a bundle which seems the asking price for the PS4+1 game.
The only viable option I can see so far is spamming the crap out of the John Lewis website at midnight Thurs/Fri and paying for Saturday delivery. Anyone got any better suggestions?

I keep having an urge to buy another game, but I'm not entirely sure what or why. I get the impression that Knack and Assassin's Creed will be £20-£30 VERY quickly. That being said, I keep thinking about getting a VITA too. I think I'm just totally caught up in the anticipation.

Same here, though I still have doubts on NBA vs Fifa.
Thoroughly enjoying Knack so far... Really feels like I'm playing a Pixar movie, so much that my GF wants me to not play unless she can watch
Why not get another DS4 and let her join in? My wife is loving it!

I used to love FIFA, but I realised last year that I'm never going to enjoy it again. I like football too much to enjoy FIFA. FIFA will never be the game I want it to be in terms of gameplay, it'll always be a hyper fast arcade based game where sprinting as fast as you can all the time is the ultimate winner.
Plus I really don't like the people you meet when playing online.

What mystery list would this be? I'm assuming it's a first party list. Which makes me wonder why games like Helldivers or Hohokum aren't on it.
Does anyone have two PSN accounts, both with their PS4 set as the primary console? There are a few European gaffers in another thread wondering about this, as they may want to have both a US and Euro PSN account tied to their PS4, so they can buy some games from the US store and play on their Euro account.

Easiest way to test is probably to make a second account and redeem a ps+ subscription on it then try to play a game you've redeemed on that but not your main account
I think we could probably add Demon's Souls 2, God of War,Last Guardian and LittleBigPlanet to the list? One more spot for a game starting with L, Legend of Dragoon 2? Interesting that according to the list no Ratchet games are planned, or would they be considered 3rd party if Insomniac are making them?

That's how my gf was with The Last of Us. She wanted to watch me play it like a movie for her.
I really dislike RDR but that's because of Rockstar's GTA 4-like philosophy with the game, where there was nothing to really do besides missions and the majority of the world was empty desert. Pretty much the exact opposite of the Assassin's Creed games, they go too far in the opposite direction with all of the clutter and useless side elements.

Demonite posted it, only added in games that are not announced to the existing SCE titles. None of the bullets are anything that has been announced yet, so 16 unannounced PS4 titles I think.

I was thinking about buying a PS3 copy of the game, since most of my friends aren't going next-gen just yet, and I want to be able to play with them.
Might sound daft, but if I do the £10 upgrade thing and get a PS4 version too, my original PS3 game will still work, right? Ideally I want to be able to freely swap between both consoles and have all my stats etc carry over.

This is what I was afraid of and has been my experience in every Assassin's Creed game I've played (though I've apparently skipped the best ones). I think I will pass on this.

no. a 3.5mm jack won't be able to do 5.1 audio.
as you can see this jack has four contact points. ground, left audio, right audio, chat
You trade in your PS3 copy and pay £10 to get the PS4 copy. So there will be no freely swapping between versions.
Not sure about stat transfer though.

Best to stick with an amp like the Turtle Beach DSS box that comes bundled with their DPX21 or just buying it standalone from them for 50. Best thing I've bought since it pipes audio to anything on the other end from headphones to using that 3.5mm jack for my PC speakers.

Oh, I thought the game came with a code that you redeemed on the store? Doesn't your PS3 disc need to be in the console to even play the PS4 version?
