Norway and Sweden having Japanese made PS4s. Seems like Nordic countries got Japanese shipment.

I know the regular update is up as well but I cant find the link.
Final preparations - just set up the input for the PS4 on my AV receiver, just got to plug in the cables now and it's all set.
I have a 1TB HDD in my PS3 at the moment, tomorrow when the PS4 arrives can I just swap the drives over straight away and update from USB on both consoles?
Or do I need to do any sort of formatting beforehand since they'd both technically have the wrong firmware on at first?

As someone said, must have been a GAME exclusive. Didn't even know till I pulled it out the bag at home. Mind, the plastic sleeve around it is fairly warped, may go back to normal if I compress it though.
Also just to add, mines a Made in China model. Hopefully the whole "every Chinese made console will implode!" just stays a myth.
And the update servers seem pretty stable atm. No idea how they'll react come the morning. took about 5mins to get 1.51.

Also, has anyone had any issues with their PS4? Mine is working fine so far.
Shame. Not updating a new a HDD. I guess I better not risk it, and just download over the internet which i imagine will be incredibly slow due to traffic

Very jealous, I didn't even know it existed.
Hmm, it seems the bundle consoles are 'Made in China' whereas the single consoles are Japanese. I hope the consoles are all fine.

Seems like the UK is getting Chinese shipments while other EU countries (at least the Nordic countries) are getting Japanese ones? Personally I'm happy about that (Swedish), just feels a bit safer and reassuring for whatever reason. I'm sure the vast majority of Chinese PS4s are absolutely fine, but maybe the DOA rate of those is slightly higher? I don't know if that's true, I have nothing to back it up with, I just associate "Made in Japan" with higher quality. We'll see if there are as many reports of DOA PS4s after the EU launch as there were after the US launch (which was all Chinese consoles, right?).

Uh oh. Mine seems to be having issues. Display keeps blinking on and off as if it's losing HDMI connection.
Edit: false alarm. Looks like the console doesn't like my hdmi switch. Will have to play to see if it's OK if I switch around the order.

So guys, knowing the size of the european markets better than I do, how much stock do you expect Sony to have allocated? Should we expect the US numbers to be doubled today, or more like 50% more, at around 500K? Perhaps less? More?

Yes make it a primary. You can make as many accounts primary as you wish.

My US one didn't either. Called support and they emailed me one. Make sure you mention music unlimited and $10 voucher too if the euro consoles come with that.

The store had zero consoles available for non-preorders are they turned away quite a few people, some not to happy with that. The staff said the nearby ASDA had 30 to sell at midnight, but not sure if they just said that to get rid of the chav brigade.
Manager of store tried to do a countdown from 10, but no one else joined in so he stopped at 7...lol

Aww, The UK got the vertical stands already? I got my PS4 on the US midnight Launch (Nov 15th) and the stand still isn't released yet. I have to wait until December 5th. :/
