People should stop annoying the Amazon DE customer support. If you want to contact them regarding the PS4 there is already a information piece about shipping/delievery including this:

"Wird für Ihre Bestellung als Lieferdatum der 29.11.2013 angezeigt, erhalten Sie spätestens am Donnerstag, den 28.11.2013, die Versandbestätigung."

Which means that if you have the 29.11 as delievery date you will get a shipping confirmation on thursday at latest. That sounds to me that indeed there could be some movement today awell.

EA games £57.99 I bet, if they even drop at all. It says "some prices" will be adjusted, could just be Sony first party.

Keep up the criticism though, I bet despite this excuse they were going to launch with the £53-£63 prices before people made a fuss about it.

Many people grabbing a PS4 with no games? I just can't bring myself to pay the launch retail prices of any of the games out tbh so just sticking with whatever PS+ serves up for now.

I'm getting the Mega Pack (KillZone, 2 pads + camera) and that's it. I'll be downloading Resogun, Contrast, Flower and Soundshapes to get me through to next payday, when there'll be a plentiful supply of traded-in PS4 games at discount prices in CEX.

Never imagined I could get this frustrated because of a delay for a thing.


And I was thinking the extra time is needed for packing the stuff etc. but seeing that they are already ready for delivery is a slap in the face for me.

Try camping out John Lewis' website on Thursday night? They don't do pre-orders so it'll only be orderable from midnight, same as the Xbox One

That's exactly right. You purchase with US account, and you can play with any other accounts on your PS4

I preordered my PS3 with Motorstorm in the Sony Store Berlin. But instead of going to the overcrowded Launch Event:

i just walked into the store early next day and picked up my heavy ass 599Euro (thats right us friends over 800 USD!!) ps3 and took a 2h trip on public transport home. I then fired the baby up and played motor storm all day and night

Too bad this friday i wont have to much time. I will get the ps4 hook it up and force my 2 year old to wait while daddy looks if everything is "ok" with the system. If it is i will have to wait till the evening before getting to finally play.

Pre-ordered a ridiculous (-ly bad) bundle from Play.com (RIP).

Arrived at 10AM - set up, update and played through quite a bit and messed alot with the media features.

TRUTH FACT: My Genji: Days of Blade is still in its shrink wrap (included in the bundle). Played the demo, what a crap game.

That's exactly right. You purchase with US account, and you can play with any other accounts on your PS4

They don't check cc adress. Just set you adress to a US adress and you will be able to buy from Amazon US

The problem with that is sometimes they do check the billing address on your CC, and can put a lock on your order/account until your ID is verified, as reported by this fellow Gaffer:

Ok so I am from Britain and I used my Amazon UK id purchase stuff off the American Amazon PS store (absolute stupidity that !) yesterday and I used the address of the hotel I usually stay at whenever I go to LA. I managed to buy 3 PSN $50 cards and COD Ghosts, but the 5th order I made was put on hold for verification and now they are asking me to fax them my statement with my address on it. They've also put my account on hold and I don't know what I am supposed to do now considering this is my main amazon account that I use with my kindle and I've also bought Amazon Prime for it.

What are my options guys? Should I send them a mail ?

Bloody well hope they don't crack down on it haha, that's my big fear! However apparently people have been doing it on PS3 for years, so it seems like Sony are fine with it.

Average consumers aren't going to bother with the US method and those of us that do will end up spending more because of it. Win, win for them.

Amazon is being mega arsey about this. I sent them a mail the day I was told that my account is put on hold but never received any reply from them.
Then I did exactly as they asked ie. fax them a copy of my statement with my address, name, account email and order number on it. Never heard anything from them regarding that either, so I gave them a call and after a rather long conversation (the customer support guy had trouble understanding me, and no I don't speak with a Northern accent ) and the guy basically took the exact same details that I sent them earlier via fax and asked me to wait for a day. It's getting close to 24 hours since that phone call and I still haven't heard from them.

I pre-ordered my console 5 months ago and got a call two days ago that I wasn't getting a machine at launch and that I had to wait until 15th December.

It actually was, you could brick your console if you installed a FW from a different region on your PS3 as far as I remember,
