Neither does any television I can think of, so what's the point? The consumer version of 2K is 1080p and the difference is extremely minimal.

??? 1080p is 2k. 1920 rounded up to 2k like 3840 is rounded up to 4k. At least in the consumer realm.

Trading in my current PS4 (white, 500GB) to go towards a Pro. I can't wait.

Hoping to do this during the upcoming week. My order is from Amazon. But I'll take all the cash I can get.

SS can be amazing, and makes the PS4 Pro worth it with a 4k/HDR tv.

My tv supposedly upscales to 4K. So, it'll be interesting to see how it handles the Pro.

Black console looks nice but I like the white PS4 and Dualshock a lot more. The black DS4 just looks bad to me. Really wish they were offering a white Pro out of the gate.

99% sure they're capacitive. I read a complaint that the slim received physical buttons and the writer was baffled why the pro didn't get the same treatment.

I can't even imagine how rich the colours in Uncharted 4 would be on one of the high end 4K HDR TVs that Sony demonstrate these games on.

Yup, saw them last month, you still won't get the 4k and HDR from these, but Horizon looks awesome anyway.

Was holding out for a trade in promotion similar to the one for the xbox one S. Looks like ebgames Canada isn't going to do the trade console + 5 games and get it for $100. Ended up getting $240 CAD for an xbox one 500 GB and additional controller when pre ordering a ps4 pro (this is with an edge card). Not a great deal but gets it down to nearly half price.

I'm keeping my old ps4. When you so a system transfer does it keep the games on the original ps4 or does it delete them?

I just bought a KS8000 last month but I think I'm already plotting out a 4K OLED by the end of 2017. 4K/HDR is a really impressive upgrade from my old run of the mill 1080p set.

Man, all my best consoles are black. Apart from one who is grey. The one white one I had was vicious and scratched three of my discs. And I can't prove it, but I think it used to spy on me.

This might be outside your remit but how are load times/the HDD on the Pro vs standard PS4? I'm debating buying the Seagate 1TB SSHD ( have never got close to 500gb so I'm not bothered about a 2TD SSHD) or save for a Samsung 850 Evo + hope Amazon do a fantastic lightning deal around christmas...
