PS4 Pro boxes getting prepped

im a bit upset that they dont support 2k. I hope the 1080p upgrades are decent too, not hearing too much of it.

Trading in my current PS4 (white, 500GB) to go towards a Pro. I can't wait.

Hoping to do this during the upcoming week. My order is from Amazon. But I'll take all the cash I can get.

Damn I want one but maybe I'll wait until I get a 4K tv. Might jump in for the supersampling though, whatever that means.

SS can be amazing, and makes the PS4 Pro worth it with a 4k/HDR tv.

My tv supposedly upscales to 4K. So, it'll be interesting to see how it handles the Pro.

I am actually excited for this :)
Not sure if I should get it on day 1 or wait for holiday sales.

This is the first playstation console that I don't like the aesthetics of, not that would influence my purchase or anything. Haven't decided yet if it's worth it for me to upgrade it personally - but I like the option!

Was holding out for a trade in promotion similar to the one for the xbox one S. Looks like ebgames Canada isn't going to do the trade console + 5 games and get it for $100. Ended up getting $240 CAD for an xbox one 500 GB and additional controller when pre ordering a ps4 pro (this is with an edge card). Not a great deal but gets it down to nearly half price.

I'm keeping my old ps4. When you so a system transfer does it keep the games on the original ps4 or does it delete them?

Exciting to see! Still gonna wait till next year after the JRPG bum rush of January/February 2017 lol Gonna wait for Horizon to be my first Pro game....Which will probably be in like April once I get all those JRPGs finished.

Also probably when that game will end up coming out ; )

Nice

I wish it wasn't coming out until sometime in 2017, though, to be honest. I need to upgrade for different reasons, and can only do so at launch if I want to get any value for my current one, but I can easily wait. Gotta' buy a 4K TV too.

This would have to be as quiet as a slim for games with no Pro patch, right?

Digital Foundry is going to have a very busy week soon.

I can attest that the console is quite nice in person. :)

This might be outside your remit but how are load times/the HDD on the Pro vs standard PS4? I'm debating buying the Seagate 1TB SSHD ( have never got close to 500gb so I'm not bothered about a 2TD SSHD) or save for a Samsung 850 Evo + hope Amazon do a fantastic lightning deal around christmas...

I saw that someone posted the PS4 Pro under a TV and working. Does that mean there are some who got it in advance just like the PS4 Slim? If this is the case, can he play it normally from now especially if there are already games which were patched to support it?
