I was contemplating the new TR but I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one. Luckily, I have plenty of Pro compatible games already purchased (UC4, Hitman, R&C, BF1, TLOU etc).

I have 1080p tv - no plans for 4k tv soon - for me downsampling, enhanced 1080 mode and 60 fps battlefield are great justify for my purchase

I already have quite a few Pro-compatible games, and I have Watch Dogs 2 coming in next week.
I might pick up Tomb Raider, though. The first one was fantastic. I actually didn't even know the Rise of the Tomb Raider had come out on PS4 already. I though it was out in late November!
I've also been thinking about Ratchet & Clank. I've held off on it and it's only like $20 in the store.

Tomb Raider and Ratchet and Clank for me. Both sound like the Pro patch really enhances the 1080p modes.

kind of a shame HDR doesnt work in the dashboard. it works just like the OG PS4, it will auto switch when an HDR game loads up.

My Amazon order claims it should have shipped in September. A rep told me a couple of days ago that it would be here Thursday. I swear if this thing doesn't ship on time, I will lose my shit.
My amazon order shipped today, but delivery date is still Thursday. Come on UPS, it's two states away from the origin location and you received the package this morning. If I don't get it by Thursday morning I'll be forced to actually work remotely until it arrives instead of pretending to work remotely while I play 4KTF2.

Install HDD, initialize firmware via stick. Do the transfer from PS4 to PS4 Pro via network if necessary, deactivate PS4. Activate PS4 Pro.
Important to know that you need to get the FULL software, not just the update if you want to use another HDD. That's 850Mbyte vs. 2xx

I received my Pro from Amazon today. Hook it up and it has a faulty hdmi output, tried everything and no video signal, I remember some ps4 launch models had this problem and it appears the pro does as well.
Mine arrived today lol, but I can't get it since I work before and after the post office closes.
Yeah i know what you mean.. i mean i think you're overreacting a bit but yeah. Pre-ordered my Pro last week and i want it to run steadily when shit is going down in Argonne. Dont even care about 4K just want that performance boost. Got a nice deal with trading in my OG PS4 and paying an extra 250 for the Pro at my local gameshop (gamemania) i am expecting Sony..
