I’m playing a ton of Diablo 4 with my wife recently, so probably that. After that, probably Alan Wake 2 or Dragon’s Dogma 2. I’m still hoping we get a Helldivers 2 upgrade.

Dragon Age Veilguard for sure. Also have F1 24 and Silent Hill 2 ready to go. Also I haven't finished Rebirth so that'll get a lot of time.

Maybe Dragon Quest 3. That's the game I want to play when the Pro comes out, so that's what I'll play.

The benefits of stronger hardware is secondary concern compared to the quality of the game.

As for games I'm excited to make use of the power, it's likely Dragon's Dogma 2 that I started but couldn't handle how choppy it ran.

Is that something that takes a few hours?

I pulled out my PS5’s SSD and will just throw it in once I set up my Pro with my login. Hoping it won’t force me to redownload but I have heard it works at least between Ps5s.

I think you will have to redownload everything. Just prioritise what you want to play first.

I expect you'll be able to have transfer games over your LAN, like when you went from PS4 to PS4 Pro.

My first game will probably be my hard mode run of FF7R (starting at chapter 3). I'm all set for the platinum run, just a bit of mopping up to do after beating hard mode. Then I do my first playthrough of Stellar Blade.

I read on here that the Pro is expensive as hell and who needs it when you can get a PC. I hope they are right so I can get one.

Even though I platinum trophied it after 230 hours, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth will undoubtedly be my first game replaying when I get my PS5 Pro. While I enjoyed my time, I was not happy with the game's performance mode. Even on Sharp mode, the game still looked blurry to play through and I wouldn't say I liked the Graphic Mode's choppy framerate. Thankfully, we're getting the best of both modes on PS5 Pro and I'm glad I won't have to worry about experiencing this same event again when FF7 Remake Part 3 comes out.

Other games I plan to replay are Resident Evil 4 Remake, Lies of P, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, and much more.

Haven’t decided for sure but it will be one of these 3 (first two I own and have been waiting to play on Pro).

-Resident Evil 4 remake
-Dragon Age The Veilguard (if it reviews ok, probably this as I’m in the mood for an RPG with dialogue choices etc.).

Will likely fire up FF7 Rebirth too just to see how much better that looks in 60fps mode. Also bought the Burning Shores DLC for Horizon Forbidden West for $10 the other day and looking forward to playing through that on the Pro.

After those there's some things I'll buy and play that I didn't get around to yet like Alan Wake 2, Silent Hill 2 etc.

Good point. GT7 and even WRC 23 which may not have Pro support (yet, or probably ever) but I'm hoping the boost mode can smooth it out.

Yep. I won't start my copy of Silent Hill 2 Remake until the PS5 Pro patch comes.
