PSA Mass Effect Legendary Edtion 90% off ($5.99/€6.99) on PSN.

Does this collection have cross save between Steam/EA App and Playstation?

Yep, if you want to see the last good BioWare games, the trilogy and Dragons Age Origins are a must have. We aren't likely to see anything like that ever again out of BioWare .

Amazing game. Replayed the whole thing earlier this year and had an amazing 150 hours of fun. Did everything there is to do, and had a ton of fun, and even the ending of ME3 wasn't nearly as bad as I remembered it to be.

I didnt touch his remaster cuz they fucked up the lightning big time
If you have the chance to play it on PC, some mods managed to fix that blunder.

$5.99 is a steal. I got it a couple of years ago for around $20 and it was still totally worth it. Ended up getting the platinum trophy for all 3 games.

The best trilogy from them ever. At this point they are almost giving it for free. A must have whoever didn't get it yet.

ME2 is my all-time favourite.

Mass Effect holds great values and taught me that racism is cringe

It was worth $60 on release day so this is a steal if you've been wanting to play them again. It's also great on Steam Deck if you're wanting to play it on the go.

I don't think the lighting is the most major issue. Nor are the AI-upscaled textures, they are fine for what they are supposed to do. But rather, that the models were not updated at all. So especially with ME1, it looks like people are just wearing spandex with various different textures.

There were some mods I think that may help.

Im considering going through the trilogy because I never finished the last game at the time of release (long story). I was going to purchase the Legendary Edition since it's so cheap but after reading this post and looking up video comparisons, I can't believe what I'm seeing. Even at higher frame rates/resolutions, it looks noticeably worse. I don't have a PC but own the original 360 versions so I might just bite the bullet and play those on my SX even at 30fps.

Bought this on PS5 when it was launched. Then put it on a Steam wishlist and bought it off a sale for the Deck. It's great for the occasional travel.

I finished the first one on the go as well. If anyone wants to do this though, start the game before you board the plane so you don't have to mess with plane wifi to authenticate with EA Access or whatever it's called.

I think the PS version is a PS4 app.

If you happen to have a Series console, get that one.

I beat 1 a year ago or so and was halfway in 2. Its really one of the best trilogies of the last 2 decades.

Part of the Ready, Set, Play! sale. Great value for the entire trilogy IMO.

$2.50 per game with most of the dlc dam

Make sure you have the DLC for ME2 and 3 if you go that route. A lot are a must have, IMO.

Personally I would just go with the Legendary Edition on consoles.

On PC side the new edition with some mods is best way to go as well, IMO.

2007, 2010, 2012: an rpg trilogy released in 5 years. no, we will not...
Not even talking about release speed here. They could take 10 years for one game and will still wind up with shit like Veilguard or Andromeda. ☹️

But yes, AAA Western studios are unable to produce a single good game even in 5 years lately.

My favorite series of all time. Just recently started playing it on PC for the first time with a bunch of mods. Really looking forward to experiencing the trilogy in a slightly different way with what mods have to offer.

I've triple dipped on this through across Xbox, PS, and Steam.

exactly. & this wasn't just any rpg trilogy. it's still the go-to sci-fi space trilogy, over a dozen years later...

The og trilogy was great, I remember spending 150+ hours platinuming all 3 games when this edition came out. Meanwhile finished Andromeda only once and not planning to come back. ;)
