Depends on how much Ubisoft style open world either of you like or could withstand.
Coop gameplay is fine in Farcry 4. But you can't play the story in coop, that was a major bummer. You can only roam around whole game world and capture all of the fortresses and do some mini quests.
There was some DLC that enhanced the COOP capabilities though (survival mode and a "prison break" mode)

No. That was only for next gen consoles. 360/Ps3 to X1/ps4.
Can't play story coop, just open world stuff, but nothing the joining player does in your world counts for their world.

It's pretty much been confirmed that there will be a flash sale during Black Friday on the PSN, probably for both EU and NA. Heck, even the SEA region is having one.
EDIT: Oh wait, answered on the wrong thread, lol.

I only played a bit of the Pre-sequel, but Borderlands 2 is very story-driven and much better than the first game game. I beat BL2 on pc, but I just bought the Handsome Collection on Xbone. It includes all DLC for both games.
Edit: they also retain their open world elements in case ypu want to let loose.
BL2 is miles better imo. I played BL1 even less than you.

Borderlands 2 and the Presequel are way more narratively driven than the first. The humor isn't for everyone, but I really liked the characters and the overall plot. It's a fun game to play solo.
As for the gameplay, I thought all the classes were way more interesting and fun to use compared to the first.
They're just way better games than the first. I've never played co-op and I love these games. This is also one of the best remasters around in terms of its technical aspects(after patches) and content.

The big detriment is that with Xbox and Nintendo you can plan your other purchases around what they're offering. Because Sony is being so cloak and dagger, I've already started to make Black Friday purchases at Amazon and Best Buy to take advantage of them before they run out of stock. Had Sony gone public with the deals they were offering (ones that won't be hinged on limited inventory) I could have allocated those funds to them instead.

Any opinion on those? I'm about to buy them alongside Hatoful Boyfriend, but I don't want to buy them if they're subpar versions of Bomberman / Bust a Move.
