gpSP currently requires an authentic GBA BIOS image file to run. It will
make no effort to run without one present; this file is 16kb and should
be called gba_bios.bin and present in the same location as the EBOOT.PBP
file. Please do not ask me where to obtain this, you'll have to look
online or grab it from a GBA. Note that it is not legal to have this file
unless you own a GBA, and even then it's rather gray area.

Prometeus Pro for some reason won't start up when I try to open it, and it seems like it hasn't had any development support for a while.
Technically, PSP screen always supported interlaced mode as an option (there was a way to enable it on early prototype units/devkits).Mejilan said:Has this been confirmed/verified?

Honestly, I either I can't even notice the problem on my 3000, or it's not actually that bad at all.Fafalada said:Technically, PSP screen always supported interlaced mode as an option (there was a way to enable it on early prototype units/devkits).
If the reports are an actual case of interlacing (and not just people creatively abusing the term that has nothing to do with what's actually on screen), I would imagine it's most likely a firmware bug that enables interlaced scan by mistake (as is the case, you had to abuse a bug to enable it on devkits in the first place). Historically we've already seen far worse bugs in various PSP Firmwares, so this wouldn't be a big surprise at all.
Bad screens are another explanation, but then it's something other then interlacing.![]()

Note: because even deleting LFTV and korean font there was not enough space this time, this version will delete also flash0:/dic/apotp.dic
I'm unsure about what this file is for (maybe for japanese text predicition?) but system works fine with it.
IF you want to keep some of the things deleted by the 150k_installer do following things.
- Install DC7. Use the Format flash options in nand operations menu. Make flash1 size like around 1 MB smaller, make flash3 the smallest possible, and make flash2 a bit smaller (not too much, or you won't be able to download games and demos from psstore). Then, make flash0 as big as possible and continue.
- Install 4.01 M33, update to 5.00 M33.
- Install 1.50 addon. Dump 5.00 using the latest psardumper, and flash the deleted files you want back.

Buy the real thing and it should be perfect (faster read/write speeds)
8GB & 16GB cards work with all the newer CFWs.
Mejilan said:Dark Alex kind of... borrowed the Sony updater for his updates... since 3.90 IIRC. Possibly 3.71. I forget.
Either way, you can verify if the M33 Network Update is enabled or disabled by checking the relevant setting in the Recovery Console (fully power down, then reboot the PSP while holding R). However, if you want to be absolutely sure, you can download the goodies via the Network Update, cancel out of the beginning of the installation, then browse to the memory stick via the XMB and see if the M33 updater is there. If so, you can simply run it from there.
Mejilan said:What's wrong with Dragon Quest VII? Using POPSLoader to access 3.71 (or 3.72, I forget), you can play through the entire game without too many issues. I did a few months ago. Took me something like 140 hours to fully complete the game. The 5.00 M33 flavor of POPSLoader should hit within the next few days or so.

The option is in the recovery menu (Hold R when powering on the PSP).sun-drop said:only thing is my x and O buttons have swapped function, circle is confirm now, how do i get it back to x as confirm, circle as cancel?
