Psy's Gangnam Style Music Video

Every time I watch this video(perfect video while high), I see it gains another 10 million. It was around 100 when I watched it for the first time recently. Shit is crazy.

South Korean rapper Psy joins TODAY concert lineup

The TODAY Show on MSNBC is hosting Toyota's Concert Series and they just annouced the newest addition to their line up.

Psy, also known as Park Jae Sang, will be joining the concert series. With his newfound fame from 'Gangnam Style,' Psy has been making his way through the US and had been planning to spend the next two weeks promoting himself and his newfound fame. After signing with Scooter Braun, he recently appeared at the MTV VMAs and decorated the stage with his horseriding dance.

With 'Gangnam Style' as the most viewed K-Pop music video in history, garnering more than 130 million views since its release a mere 60 days ago, Psy will now be performing live on the TODAY show and its concert series on September 14th, 2012.

Notorious for his party-filled live concerts in Korea, people are curious as to whether he will be able to translate his energy to an American stage, broadcast all over the country.

It's great to see someone with actual music talent from Korea make a breakthrough in the U.S. Many have tried only to fail. Sure there was SNSD being on Letterman and Kelly live? But they were soon forgotten because of their terrible song.
 
Please people let this die already. I am sick to death of Gangnam Style. I suppose living in South Korea doesn't help my cause. It's like a plaque for me at this stage and I can't escape it. FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

I feel your pain. Although I still love Psy's music, Gangnam Style itself got old pretty quickly here.

It's because the viral video transcended into Korean reality. The school bell where I work was changed to Gangnam style last week for a whole 3 days. Suffice to say, I wanted to kill myself.

Yeah you can't avoid it on the streets either, since it's blaring from every other shop front you walk past. That and the ringtones. And the clubs.

Yeah, it's everywhere.

The pop station here in College Station, TX has decide to play this song once an hour all morning. Kinda crazy how big this seems to be.
 
I don't get what's so great about this song/video - it just looks like a male K-pop star doing a silly dance to a mediocre K-pop song......

PS: what's up with male K-pop performers being out of shape? My old roommate's older brother was really into K-rap, and I swear, everyone was fat.

In general there is a HUGE difference between people like PSY, who is in his 30s, and members of boybands like 2AM, 2PM, Super Junior. Google them. Male supermodels can't touch that. The most popular groups are all like that, some artists in niche genres are not since they do not need to sell their music though elaborate dance routines.

Um, majority of the guys in K Pop are pretty fit.

Maybe it was an anomaly? On all his CD cases it was fat dudes. I've seen videos with a lot of fat dudes too. I really know nothing of Korean music. Maybe through random chance my exposure to it is the population of out-of-shape males.
