The dream is realized!
Now it's gonna annoy me whenever I need to sub-in a non-297 monster for specific dungeons. Lol.
just wasted 2000 points so make sure I don't hit the limit. I hope this one doesn't come any time soon... maybe in a month? On the same page, it also looks like there are 3 consecutive godfests running for the new year.

hasn't the cap been increased to 10000?
Japan also gets to buy a 5 stone pack for ¥100
and! Dragonball is back! This time dragonballs are a drop.
Since three 2-prong attacks are the new hotness, check out Liu Bei's ultimate.

I ran Valk for the longest on my Sakuya team, and while she adds firepower to the team, I've found this defense-focused build to be much more consistent overall. And Odin plays a major role in its defense and overall versatility. He's a huge stat stick with 2 skill boosts, 2000 autoheal, absorbs binds, and an active that can zap an enemy and heal on demand. I still substitute monsters depending what's needed for specific dungeons, but its usually for some utility like Mastering's Orb Refresh or Kushi's damage reduction, and rarely for additional offensive power. And even then, Echidna's usually the first to get subbed-out, not Odin.Good stuff. Any reason you have Odin on the team? Why not Valk?

Wow, that is really good! I just ult. my Ronia and with the 2.5x skill up rate, I got nothing... -_-She's still stuck at lvl. 2. I spent the past 2 weeks constantly playing the Thursday dungeon to get the 3 red fruits I needed for the ult. Loos like I have to keep doing that dungeon...it was a reward for my determination and like 10 blue/green fruits i got while trying to get 2 red fruits
if blonia needs 5 blue fruits for her ultimate evo i'm ready for that
also if i get a gronia and it needs 5 green fruits for it's ult evo i'm ready for that too
i actually had to get rid of green fruits i had so many
Maybe other posters can give good advice about the order, but definitely Hera or Heroes should be your first. There must be a list somewhere but I can't remember what I did after them.
The first descends you should attempt used to be two heroes and hera (now they are in the normal dungeon track available after starlight sanctuary)
If you have a U&Y team I think you might want to attempt hera-is legendary. You'll have enough damage, but you will need to kill everything on the first turn. Hera-is mythical is a pain in the rear end. But legendary isn't nearly as bad.
Another good one is satan descended, with a light focused U&Y. There are no heart orbs so you are more likely to hit the 25x multiplier to kill everything in one hit.
One last recommendation: Goemon descended, Should be relatively simple with a blue monster focused U&Y team.
These recommendations also are for if you have a kirin as well.
use Puzzledragonx to see if you have a team that might work for the dungeon before you enter it.
There's only one difficulty for Hera and Heroes. You should be fine with U&Y.Just to be sure - are you always taking the Legend or Mythical Difficulty as a reference point ? So when you say start with 2 Heroes, it does mean that a person can handle it on Legend...right ?

Legendary Dragons -> Sky Dragons -> Hera is the order for unlocking Two Heroes.Cool thanks.
Just saw that you can get Highlander on Heroes as well, he would fit nice into my GZL team. Enemies in the dungeon seem to have way less HP than in Godness Desc.
But getting there wont be easy....but i will try making progress in the normal Quests, have given up on getting Siren in Oceans of Heaven.
Edit:
Is there a special way to unlock the Heroes Dungeon ? Because i got Legendary Dragons' Footprints before unlocking the couple of dungeons that come after Vesta Cave.
Legendary Dragons -> Sky Dragons -> Hera is the order for unlocking Two Heroes.
I feared that...so this will take some time till i get there. Thanks !!
On Legendary Dragons/Blazing Hell i have some weird issues with those Pyro Devil - feels like they block/defend most attacks from me. Even water combos (if i dont get orb trolled) dont do that much dmg on them.
The next stage should be easier with GZL since there are only water units.

Forgot to post that I hit my one year anniversary with PAD a couple days back! Man, can't believe I've kept with the game every day for a year. Still going strong. Don't think I'll let up soon.
In in game news, I switched out Echidna and Apollo on my Kirin team for L. Kali and Verche. Holy crap that combo is good. Blowing through content I had trouble with before. Even if I can't really put together a great L. Kali team right now, she's a godsend for my Kirin team.
I might try this, I didn't realize l.Kali is a good kirin sub.
What's a good water faramable sub for a kirin team?
Thanks! I have more +297 monsters, but this is my first complete +297 team. Though, I'm extremely tempted to cannibalize Echidna for a better sub.Well done George, congrats.
I actually forgot about LKali, even though I immediately thought about adding her to my Sakuya team when I pulled her. I considered replacing Echidna with Mastering, but LKali is definitely better. Between Verche and Apollo, I think I'd still stick with Apollo even with LKali on the team. His stats are much better and he provides a bigger burst when used without LKali. I view LKali more as a utility to get rid of bad boards than to set up a burst. It's just a huge bonus that she makes a rainbow board rather than the randomness of Mastering which can still leave you orb-trolled. I may end up feeding Echidna to LKali...In in game news, I switched out Echidna and Apollo on my Kirin team for L. Kali and Verche. Holy crap that combo is good. Light Kali is an amazing Kirin sub. Board reset, guaranteed activation, and two prongs are great for extra damage without needing an active boost.
Best Kirin light/blue sub is probably light Izanami. Sandalphon isn't a bad choice if you have some other healers on squad.
Aww, that sucks.Should be "soon". Becomes like Xuanzang where you fight light before dark and I think the difficulty of those two floors decreases a little. Unfortunately also means the light one doesn't always drop.
What team is everyone using for caucheman?
I played awfully today and wiped a couple times with lu bu then switched to kirin which was dumb. Finally cleared legend with lu bu (no drop) but don't know if I'll be able to do mythical?

Well at least we get a free fruit dragon. Hopefully I can get the grape one this time.
Think bigger. Free Piis!Would rather have a free spirit jewel dungeon, though. Got enough fruit dragons already.
Finally got U&Y max skilled, making it my first hypermaxed card!
I'd say Lu Bu, but it depends what teams you currently use or future teams you want to use. Fagan, Kagu, and GZL will all make good use of ATK eggs due to TPA. GZL is probably the most versatile of those 3 as a leader and sub. I'm less familiar with Fagan (assuming you have D/L), but it might be worthwhile if you have enough friend leaders to use. I've seen a few D/L Batman leader concept teams, but it doesn't seem as easy to use or find friends with as D/W Batman. I think he and Kagu would be mostly relegated to sub status. Finally got U&Y max skilled, making it my first hypermaxed card!
I need to decide on my next card to plus. I had thought about farming coin dungeons to max skill D/L Batman, and he would be a good option. Other possibilities are Fagan, Kagutsuchi, GZL, or maybe Lu Bu. What do you guys think?
Many people have been able to get through the game without paying any money due to GungHo's generosity when it comes to free stones, but a lot of that requires luck from the REM. Getting a good leader from the first roll gives you a way to make it to end-game without having to rely on the REM as much. You should probably continue following the starter guide and reroll, especially if you plan on sticking with the game for a long time.Is there any chance of just continuing to play this more or less casually or will I eventually feel the P2W pressure without spending hours on learning how to game the game?
Here's my stats, I'd appreciate some comments or suggestions.
I'm still lacking the full board change I would need to take my LuBu team to the next level, so I've been losing interest in that team. I'm trying to put together a D/L Fagan team so I can utilize Kagu, but its a long way off, so I'll probably hold off on those two. I have a mostly ideal Athena team, and a solid GZL team, so GZL seems like a good choice.I'd say Lu Bu, but it depends what teams you currently use or future teams you want to use. Fagan, Kagu, and GZL will all make good use of ATK eggs due to TPA. GZL is probably the most versatile of those 3 as a leader and sub. Fire Forest Nerva is the first point in the game where the difficulty starts ramping up, so don't feel bad about struggling at your current position.So...uh...I am a new player and have been playing for a mere 3 days. I just reached Rank 21. Looking at this thread still feels pretty intimidating because I don't understand half of the lingo or what stuff means.
I've read some beginner guides, e.g. from the Wiki but mostly I'm still confused as to how well I am actually doing or if I should be doing any better. In particular I am confused regarding the monsters I should be keeping and/or which ones I should be fusing.
I guess I already deviated from the newbie guide by not rerolling so I don't have any god or anything. By the time I read about that I had already invested a couple hours and I didn't feel like restarting. I've been doing OK without too much difficulty so far but I can feel the curve tightening now (Fire Forest Nerva). In particular I feel that I don't exactly know how to actually get more really good monsters. New evolutions seem like 10-20 levels away for the monsters I do have.
Is there any chance of just continuing to play this more or less casually or will I eventually feel the P2W pressure without spending hours on learning how to game the game?
