fuck.
It was but the problem is these things should not even make it to retail, its one of the only reasons I like console gaming.ctrayne said:To be fair, those were patched out pretty quick, and on my SSD I never had stuttering. But I totally feel you, mang. I'm still pre-ordering a few titles though, because on the whole, I still have pretty good experiences. RF:A ran perfect out of the box, so I've put my money down for Saints Row: TT.

I don't even have the option for AA over x8.AppleMIX said:Try lowering your AA from x16 to x4.
It makes the 2-3 second pop-in down to a fraction of a second.

Smash88 said:Ummm what are you talking about? You don't need some random drivers from Alienware for an ATI video card, which I assume you are talking about.
I couldn't enable CrossFire and then saw that the AMD External Events service had crashed. Tried to restart the service but no dice. Restarted my machine and then everything was recognized and enabled in CCC.Doc Holliday said:AMD drivers + Rage = fucked up. Somehow I managed to fuck my drivers nicely. My second gpu is not even recognized, sigh.....

I'm full of RAGE right now, alright. I think I need to go ly down.
Hope you get it, if you do I will follow suit and buy this on a sale.Saren is Bad said:Took a leap of probably dumb and impossible faith, but asked for a refund from Steam. Should have just waited for a sale, but the hype got to me! Nothing against RAGE (besides the aforementioned glitches and such), but just too many games to play to pay $60 for this game at this time.
*fingers cross*
Please tell me how stupid I am for thinking Steam will refund me
You get one refund per the life of your account, iirc.Saren is Bad said:Took a leap of probably dumb and impossible faith, but asked for a refund from Steam. Zimbardo said:Brink is the only true stand out as being a real piece of shit on launch day, imo (from pre orders that i bought) ...but it was also fucked on consoles from what i hear.
Dead Island was a little shaky, but nothing right terrible. was patched up quick at least.
Brink was the worst i've seen anyway.
