Oh it does not. Max settings and DX9 effects-a-plenty, beautiful looking game. Need for Speed Underground also looks nice on PC.

I have yet to play RSC2, but I can already appreciate the developers' decision of going with 60 fps. Yey!

Although I have to say, based on the trailers I've seen, Burnout 3 looks like a more exiciting experience to me. Then again, I've always preferred pure, high-adrenaline arcade racing games.

and rallisport 2 also nailed down night racing 100% - best view ever from the inside, with the windshield wipers working realisticly, pushing water off to the side and then it drips down as more collects

Rain and the cockpit view is much better in CMR4 and even 3. In that game heavy rain frm the cockpit really obscures your view and it flat out looks better.

CMR4 is ok. It doesnt look that great on PC or Xbox. Infact Rallisport 1 on PC looks better than CMR4 on PC. and Rallisport 2 on Xbox blows it away, trust me ive played CMR4 on my PC. Its nothin special, I would say Need for Speed Underground looks better.

As for Xpand Rally dont make me laugh. That game is complete crap. Its first review is like a 3 out of 10 or something.

Sorry folks, Rallisport 2 is gonna remain the best Rally game, sim or not, until Rallisport 3.

Uhh... The game is great, but not that impressive visually. The textures specifically.

Plus I hate how the refresh is halved during replays.

Great game though. Some of you just have impaired vision I guess.

It is still going through the beta testing phase, so I don't know where you pulled that one from...

Rallisport 2 is the best. Its the most fun, the best looking, has Xbox Live, has the best courses, and the best cars.

And its awesome playing split screen, any of my friends can get right into it, with CMR4 they just suck, they drive worse than they do in PGR2. Its no fun at all playing them.

Because it's more realistic handling? In some books that's a plus. CMR4 may not be your cup of tea, but it's some people's number one rally game (including mine).

Rallisport Challenge 2 is really great. Best visuals for a racer this gen that I've seen on my HDTV. No question about that. If GT4 can actually look good on an HDTV this time then it might have some competition. Of course GT3 is fairly unplayable on an HDTV due to the jag fest.

You missed my whole point. I'll quote you again:

My point is, Rallisport 3 is not out yet. That's why I thought it sounded like you're not willing to give other upcoming rally games a fair chance, with a claim like that.

Unless you put 30 other vehicles on a RC2 track

Those vehicles are made out of 200 or so polygons...compared to at least a few thousand on each of RSC2's cars. I wouldn't be surprised if one RSC2 car equalled 16 FZero cars, polygon wise. The number of polygons makes a big difference as far as framerate goes.

Still gotta play this game. I still refuse to believe that it looks better than PGR2 . Tell me, does RSC2 use FSAA?

It uses FSAA when there is only 1-2 cars on the track I believe. When there is more it doesnt.

Trust me it looks better, go play it.
