Rambo Last Blood was pretty awesome

Fingerlickin' Good!
I especially liked the gratuitous violence. I also remember all the gender studies film reviewers hating it

LOL

what version did you see? The longer cut with the mountain horse rescue at the beginning?

Girl shouldn't have died.

End credits were the only good part of the movie. I got some strange feels watching them.

Rambo grinding rapist Mexican drug lords that committed crimes in a poorly defended US border... Of course that ain't going to end well with left wing critics. lol

It's a 6-7 low budget movie. I miss this kind of movie that were much more common in the 80/90's

Rambo 2008 was better and a more fitting end, this one felt out of place, some nice kills and tricks but damn does it feel depressing.

Rambo was a better endpoint but the full version of Last Blood is still a decent little revenge flick. The cut version really hampers it though.

It was alright.

Nothing will ever top First Blood though, at least for me.

First Blood is an all-time great, top-10 tier classic action flick. Very few films best it, like Terminator 2, Predator, Die Hard, Aliens, The Matrix, Raiders of the Lost Ark, etc, etc.

Part 2 has some really cool scenes/story/characters, and so does 3. I try to forget the rest exist, but they're all enjoyable in their own way. Sylvester Stallone has a great on screen presence in anything, just like Arnold Schwarzenegger.

It was okay, some parts were good, 2008 was probably better. I felt like if anything it should have been longer, it was a VERY brisk movie.

I thought it handled the subject well, and more Rambo is never a BAD thing. I also enjoy seeing cartel members killed, so that's a plus.

Rambo 2008 would NOT be allowed to come out today. Watched it last week and seeing women getting raped and kids getting impaled by bayonets even I was like "Wooooow." Good movie btw.

There's other action scenes but the best is all at the end. It's not long and I was never bored.
Yeah i'm not even a huge rambo fanboy to begin with.

I vastly prefer stallone in something like demolition man or tango and cash, war movies are not my jam.

I'm not big on war movies either, never really viewed Rambo as war movies, though. I mean... yeah... I guess he's usually winning a war all by himself but that was what a lot of action movies technically were in the '80s. Demolition Man is great, still hearing rumors we'll get a sequel.

Oh god no, leave that masterpiece alone please.

I hear they're getting Stallone and Snipes both back, hopefully that means they're cloning him or some shit. Honestly I'll watch it, it'll probably beat most shit coming out these days.
They are both too old, i prefer to remember them in top shape.

Stallone was already too old when he did rocky balboa imo.

It was decent and had a few memorable moments (Mainly the ending and ripping that guys collar bone out) but the story didn't feel strong enough to bring back the Rambo character after how Rambo '08 ended and the movie was on the cheap side. If anything it kinda felt like one of those fantasy book epilogues where the main story is over but they go on some last quickie adventure. Cut it down to some bare basics 45 minute mini movie and it might be pretty cool. =P

Pretty boring Rambo tbh, at least the first hour or so.

Would have so preferred if he was out in the forests like the very first one hunting them down. Should of sent him to Columbia instead.

It was entertaining as yet another 'old man gets revenge' movie. But after the forest rescue at the beginning, Stallone wasn't acting like John Rambo. 2+3+2008 are off-the-wall action epics, but you could still recognize the same character from First Blood

Parts 2 and 3 did not age very well.

Part 2 has really cheesy special effects
Part 3 has Rambo going Superman on the entire Soviet army. Better special effects but still looks cheesy as hell.

TBH I'd rate them

First Blood
Rambo 2008
Last Blood
First Blood Part 2
Rambo 3
