Saros Gets an Extended Gameplay Demo and March 2026 Release Date

Housemarque's Saros kicked off today's State of Play, and we were treated to not only an extended first-look at gameplay of the follow-up to Returnal, but also a release date of March 20, 2026. This isn't a sequel, but a new game starring Rahul Kohli's Arjun Devraj, who finds himself on the shape-shifting planet known as Carcosa. The sun also plays a big part, and we hear a voice saying, "every time the sun dies, time stretches and tears." Oh, and weapons appear to be powered by the eclipse happening as well."

We got to not only see the impressive tech and particles on display, but also a few abilities Devraj will get to utilize, including the Soltari Shield (defend and absorb projectiles) and Second Chance (Revive on First Death)

There will be plenty of Holologs to find around Carcosa, and they will reveal more of the planet's past. The final shot of the demo was of a massive boss, but it cut away before we got to see Devraj fight them.

First Look at the Battlefield 6 Campaign Revealed

While we've already seen and played some multiplayer, EA has chosen this State of Play to reveal a first look at Battlefield 6's campaign. We don't have long to learn more about the campaign and multiplayer, however, as the game is set to be released on October 10.

Nioh 3 Was Given an Official Release Date

Nioh 3 will be released on PS5 on February 6, 2026. To learn more, you can check out all of our IGN FIrst coverage of the game, including our preview, where we said it looks set to level up from the first two games in the series.

Zero Parades - For Dead Spies Is a New Spy Fantasy From Disco Elysium's ZA/UM

Zero Parades - For Dead Spies was revealed during today's State of Play and it looks to be a "narrative-first espionage RPG steeped in paranoia, surrealism, and a struggle for redemption." Players will take on the role of Hershel, a "brilliant yet unfortunate operant in a world where trust is scarce, betrayal is just around every corner, and failure is inevitable."

This will be another cRPG like Disco Elysium, but it will come with some new features like dramatic encounters, failing forward and exertion, and conditioning.

Zero Parades - For Dead Spies will be out on PS5 in 2026.

Code Vein II Will Help Kick Off 2026

Roughly seven years after the launch of Code Vein, its sequel - Code Vein II - will be released on January 30, 2026.

As if that wasn't enough, The Last of Us Part 2 and its Remastered version will also be joining the catalog this month.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Is Headed to PlayStation 5

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, which was previously exclusive to Xbox and PC, will be making its way to PS5 on December 8, 2025. Furthermore, PlayStation VR2 support is also in the works, although it seemingly won't be available at launch.

quite possibly the most retarded show of all time btw

wasted time

D for Decent.

Saros kicked ass. Wolverine has potential, but they didn't show nearly enough gameplay. DW3 could be cool.

Everything else was meh.

Deus ex remasted by Aspyr is such a monkey paw.

Microsoft Flight simulator and Saros looked good.

Not much else was interesting to me.

Got to see Saros and Wolverine which was satisfying. Wanted to get a glimpse of atleast one of those rumored GoW games though. And no Little Devil Inside :(

B. Great start, then could have taken a 20 minute dump. Wolverine looked pretty good but is likely 18 months away factoring in a delay.

Never trust a man with shirts that bad.

I don't know if I can rate it because Saros looked fucking awesome, while everything else doesn't really interest me. It's like I wasted 30 minutes of my life to watch a really good 5 minute trailer.

C+ for me, not bad but also not much that I really care about. Even Saros, despite looking cool, is not at all my thing... I didn't even touch Returnal.

However Wolverine, unsurprisingly, looks awesome. Bumps it up to "decent" territory for me.

It's hilarious seeing how stacked February is because it's obvious some of those release dates were made before GTA was delayed to May. And now those games are competing with games being rushed to come out well before GTA. Insanity.

Nioh 3, Code Vein 2, and Crimson Desert were all given release dates.

Saros looks fine.

Wolverine looks cool but I'm not getting my hopes up for a Fall 2026 release.

Dynasty Warriors 3 will be a "on sale" pick-up for sure.

C for me. Nothing from first party that we didn't already know about. Wolverine and Saros looked good. Rest was boring. No big reveal

Some decent stuff in there but not really much for me. Still need to see more of Wolverine before I commit to it. Saros we already knew about and will likely be very good.
Nothing that really blew me away though.
