Ok, I'm defintely maybe in! Not that I need the fancy polling rate, but the Wolverine has always looked so damn comfy!

Looks very interesting. I've never been a Razer fan but wouldn't mind trying it out.
Don't their products have reliability issues often though?

Wait a second, this controller IS TWO HUNDRED US DOLLARS?!?! :messenger_astonished:

Razer is expensive plastic e-waste marketed at kids. There are disposable vape pens built better than their shit.

The V3 (xbox one) is a great controller (I use it on PC), I also really like the PlayStation specific one (V2 Pro) as well.

Will give the pc specific model a try, but I suspect it will function very closely to what I already have, but as long as they don't' change the face buttons (they are amazing) it will be worth it.

What are you basing this on personal experience or Reddit? Because apart from one battery bloat with a Razer blade 15 (out of around 7 laptops) none of their products have given me issues.

I smashed my screen on a razer 16 2023 out of warranty and the sent me an upgrade to the 2024 model for nothing.

I have an Asus G14 2025 and while is nice the build quality is miles away from Razer.

That's awesome, I haven't had the same luck with their products through the years. I don't go to reddit if I can help it. (the BF subreddit you guys mentioned in the other thread is pretty funny though)

I have an Elite Series 2 controller (second one, first one broke), the bumpers are quite dodgy and tend to just disintegrate.

I'd buy a Duelsense with those fancy new hall effect analogues (AFAIK they don't have them), when I had PS5s the analogues were quite shitty, you could feel they wouldn't last, not a PlayStation guy anymore, but my word those guys understand making comfy good feeling controllers.

Lmao 8k pooiling rate is absolutely retarded. No normal human will feel the difference in anything above 1k. Paying overpriced marketing gimmick, good job and a razer product at that.

I do think the built quality and quality control of Razer stuff can be bad, but sometimes they make something I like. The Razer Basilisk v3 is still the only half-way decent gaming mouse that also has the scroll-wheel where it will free-spin with a harder flick and do notch scrolling with a lighter one automatically, no buttons presses to lock/unlock needed.

That said, if you're going to use Razer stuff, block their stupid software from phoning home your data, they collect more than you think:

The Elite 2 is my favourite controller, the paddles are god like. But the bumpers have gone again on my 4th. Its unacceptable.

It's such a massive shame because it's an incredibly well built controller and package otherwise, but yeah it's a fatal issue..

I really hope they address durability with the Elite Series 3, I'm sure it's going to cost a fkn fortune. I'd drop >$500 on a controller if it was designed for 5+ years of heavy use.

Impressions on this thing coming from an Elite 2 ( i bought a v3 xbox version recently but was in the return window)

Back paddles are well placed.

Sticks are a little loose for my tastes, i liked the way you could adjust the stiffness on the Elite.

feels like a Switch pro 2 in the hand.

Elite 2 was a little heavier, which I prefer.

Clicky buttons are great.

I Have a scuff instinct 2 which i hate and this is miles better. Overall i'd prefer a more reliable Elite 3 but I'm not give then any more money. This does more better but fails in a couple of area's that are important to me.

Side note. F or those questioning the price, for me personally the pad is more important than the machine. If I'm not aware of the input method I'm using then its worth the money.

The V2 kicks ass. Been using it for a while now
I have an older Wolverine and it has become my go to daily controller for PC, Xbox. I got it to replace my OG Elite controller that unfortunately started falling apart after a year of use. 4 years later (approximately), it's still going strong.

Nice. Yeah, these feel like well-built conrollers. Very comfortable to hold as well. Not cheap, but so far....worth it.

This looks like the ultimate pc controller
8k pooling rate and TMR joysticks
Ordered one will be here on the 19 I will give my impressions then.
I have the Razer wolvarine v3 Pro. that too does 8k btw when connected to the cable ( not like I am going to play competitive gaming wirelessly lol ).
it has hall effect which is basically same as TMR.

however, the V3 pro still has its rumble. this one doesn't. so I would rather keep mine to be honest and not upgrade.

The V3 Pro is the best controller I have ever bought. I have modded my PS5 controller with TMR too. which is great and works like a charm. but I love the feeling of the Wolvarine V3 Pro. The mechanical buttons and the mouse triggers are awesome.

Real men don't need rumble.

I do. some games I play are single player games and I love the feeling of it when its well built.

it also gives some heft to it. I don't like light controllers. makes it feel cheap.
Agree on the weight thing, I feel like this controller is a little light. I've Sellotaped a 50p to the back of it to solve the issue.

I have had a few Razer products, mice (a Deathadder from about 2010), keyboard, Blackshark headset and all are fine. I asume like me you take care of your stuff, some people caveman there shit across the room then say its shit when it breaks.

the Wolverine V3 on xbox is one of the best controllers ever made. even the Dpad destroys basically any other one even tho it's primarily designed for shooters not fighting games

Lost my elite 1 controller because the bumper plastic cracking, and my elite 2 I have to slightly push out the prong on the top of the faceplate next to the left bumper so it won't stick.

I really do hope they change the design, it's weird how fragile the bumpers are next to the triggers and everything else on it being good.
