Sadly I have done very little in the way of baking or cooking lately. No wait I tell a lie. We made marshmallows on Sunday. They were tasty.

I heard that the game has good combat and horrible everything else.
It's a shame, the Mercenaries mode looks pretty fun, and an improvement over the previous ones.

I thought you was having a conversation with an imaginary user. I've got it back now though.
I've done it a few times you know. I put it in that card reader thing, put my pin in, get my shopping and forget to take it out of the card reader.
Dont feel bad i forgot one time to take the money out of the ATM, i rushed back when i realized my own stupidity but it was too late, I only hope that money got well spent as a consolation.
You know, I have done that few times as well. lol
There was a good reason for it though. Some shops in the UK have like a mini ATM inside the store. You get charged £1.99 to use these ATM machines as well. In this one store money has a habit of getting caught in the machine. So you take your money thinking you have it all and go. I remember checking my money once and realising I was short £20. I didn't know what the fuck had happened to it. Whether I had somehow lost it, or whether the machine hadn't give me the right amount of money.
Anyway, one week I decided to count it on the spot and it turned out I was missing money. I bent down to check inside the machine and noticed a couple of notes caught in it. lol
I realised that it must have happened to me a few times. Some lucky bastard has probably gone to that machine and found it has given them more than they wanted.
How much money did you lose that day?

It wasn't that I forgot the money I just drawn out of an ATM per se, it was more the machine not functioning right. still, I definitely forgot my card.

Get into work today, expecting more of the chaos of our boss not giving us enough time.
NOPE. Turns out I got moved this morning to a completely different team.
On the negative side, my old team was awesome and the project, despite having nowhere near enough time was actually designed well, unlike the old versions.
On the plus side, MY GOD I missed a massive bullet there. Jesus christ.
Also I love this feeling of finding a new band that's not really similar to anything you normally listen to and just listening to them constantly.

Not looking forward to this weekend. After I finish work today I have to travel 5 hours to watch a band play. Then tomorrow travel about 2 hours to go to a wedding. Then drive into Adelaide for another show. Then after that drive an hour to get home. I'm gonna hate myself and everything around me.
On the plus side I'll be dressed up pretty so lots of photos for me.

The beauty of living in a small country is nothing is ever really that far away. The time it takes to drive across America almost seems incomprehensible to me. I'm so used to travel taking hours rather than days in my own country. In Europe it only takes hours to drive across whole countries.
Edit: Just put things into perspective. You said it will take you 5 hours to watch your band.
It takes 5 hours 10 minutes to go from London to Paris. A distance of 282.2 mi
That is what google says it will take by car. Not exactly sure how it is worked out. It only takes 2 hours 15 minutes by train.

Man I wish I was 5 hours from Paris. That really weirds me out. I often forget how small some countries are.
5 hours for me is driving from the Barossa Valley to mt gambier. Then tomorrow about 2 hours to lobethal for the wedding. And about an hour or so into Adelaide. And I live about an hour out of Adelaide. All in the same state. You'd have to drive in circles or something to equal that haha

Only good thing about where I used to live is that New York was 15 minutes away, Boston was around 4 hours, Washington DC around 3 maybe.
Now it's more like Sao Paulo is 5 Hours, Rio is around 8, and Florianopolis is 2 I think. Not bad all around. Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay are pretty close too. Probably all within a day's drive I'd say.

I think it takes less than 12 hours to drive from the top to the bottom of this tiny ass country. It sure is convenient though, I love that I can take a bus and get to Seoul in just an hour and half on a whim.
