Red Gaming Tech (RGT): The PS5 has a custom feature to be found in future RDNA 3 Cards.

What do you think? Is it true that the PS5 has a custom feature to be found in future RDNA 3 cards?

so the xsx (54cu) is a 6800, (with 1 WG missing in each block... so 18 cu's x 3) or two thirds or 66.6 (lol) percent of a 6800xt
so the xbox series S is 20cu, which is a quarter of a full 6900xt...
the split memory stuff in the xbox'es probably can be explained but the memory mapping of the cu's...
(custom?)

a ps5 is a half of a 6800xt with lisa su "brand" of "hot sauce"... lol
XSX GPU has 28 DCU (aka 56 CU) in a dual Shader Engine configuration with 26 DCU (52 CU) being active which is backed by 64 ROPS.

RX 6800 has 30 active DCU (60 CU) in three Shader Engine which is backed by 96 ROPS and very-fast 128 MB L3 cache(based Zen 2's L3 cache IP) with around 2.1 Ghz boost clock speed. AIB factory OC such as ASUS ROG Strix models usually exceeds AMD's reference specs.

In terms of raw DCU power, the reference RX 6800 is up to 33% higher than XSX GPU's 12.1 TFLOPS FP32 shader power.

Unified shaders I believe.
Under ATI, PC Radeon HD and Xbox 360 have different GPU designs i.e. Radeon HD 2900's VLIW5 vs Xbox 360's scalar+SIMD4

Under AMD, both game consoles and PC Radeon GCN has many-SIMD (MIMD) based GPU.

AMD removed VLIW5 and VIW4 based projects and many of these engineers jump to Intel, Qualcomm and Apple. Recently, a significant number of PC GCN engineers jump to Intel. 2/3 of RTG's human resource is geared towards game console RDNA 2 related projects.

Can you go into more detail on how what you posted contradicts what I said?
My point, RX 6800 XT engineering release already exists prior to this topic's Red Gaming Tech spill.

RGT is sounding like the 2020 version of Misterxmedia and his stacked GPU secret sauce.

Ridiculous, one thing is to claim one company has developed some features that might show up in future versions of RDNA and another that there's a complete second fucking GPU that's stacked and just needs to be activated. There's just an enormous jump between both assertions.

You came up with all this tick tock and more to be learned crap up to the AMD reveal, it turned out only Series X was full RDNA2 as stated by MS and AMD. So egg on face there.
Then you still try to claim XSX isn't RDNA2 and use the reasoning of the clock......you are then shown a game clock on an RDNA2 part that is lower than Series X and just claim there is something wrong with it🤣🤣

You really live in a fantasy world.

Hello, revisting old predictions is a fun one.

Why it's all still true🤷🏼‍♀️

The Cerny patent, I believe ps5 has a different compute unit that works better, but we will see in time. It aint tools lol

You can laugh emoji but that never works out for you, I would choose another lucky one...

RDNA2, RDNA3, whatever, its just a marketing name.

Good on you for still fighting, there is not much difference really between the console twins, its just fun.

Well until someone X-rays the PS5 chip or a developer spills the beans on record we just don't know for sure, I like facts not conjecture.
We've just launched, PS5 has been more than competitive so far with some cross gen launch games, we've got up to 7 years to go and we haven't seen a real next gen game yet and won't for some time.
That's why I'm saying hold off on the Victory Parade, I don't think we've found out anything about theses consoles from a couple of Ubisoft launch cross gen games, we don't even know what the lead platform was.
Considering PS5 was further ahead tools wise the Series X versions could well be ports unoptimized.
I'm still very confident that Series X will be the place for multi platform games. But yeah it'll be fun finding out.

Well if Cerny and Naughty dog patented that stuff and just did not bother using it for 2 years of development, then maybe but it delivers what I expected so....2+2.......

The CU patent changes the way shaders are processed and means less work..X ray will not show stuff like that. It would only show the possible CPU cache being unified, thats about it. None of the GPU stuff will be seen by any die shot. But someone will spill the beans

Anyway back to GIFs, its almost like being at work lol
