Remedy have recently released Control UE on PS+ and have had a couple of positive reviews about working with Sony in general.

Nah, that's published by Epic Games, alongside with another, much smaller title also set in the same universe. Then there's the singleplayer campaign for that CrossFireX game; then Remedy's venture into multiplayer codenamed "Vanguard"; and then the fifth title, being worked on by the Control team, which apparently is this collab with Sony.

I don't see a problem with Sony funding an exclusive for their platform. If it's a game that was originally multiplayer. That would be a different story.

Learn the difference between moneyhatting a third-party game and funding a game from a third-party developer.

Sorry for you, but at least the game have MLB on the title or other licensed product, it's highly unlikely a Sony IP will release on GP.

How many games is Remedy making? Didn't they just signed a deal with Epic for 2 games and the rumor is one of those games is Alan Wake 2? Now they're making a 3rd game for Sony. I didn't know Remedy had multiple development teams.

Remedy is a solid studio, and I've enjoyed Control a lot. Hope it's a good one.

Control was wonderful, so refreshing, so unique and original. It felt "new" and nice to me, loved it so much and was buying it if not offered on PS+.

If I'm not mistaken they had one exclusive with Microsoft during the X1 era. It would be interesting to see what kind of an exclusive they would make with Sonys help.
