What the hell is that Ketkat drama? What's going on?

Ketkat is suspected of (or basically outed themselves somehow? Not clear on the specifics) using significant-other-and-ex-mod Robin's inside access to ResetEra staff resources (Discord and site PMs) to leak legit staff chatter in limited fashion over a lengthy period of time. KetKat gets banned for it and a portion of the forum got upset about it and changed avatars to Catra from the She-Ra Reboot in solidarity. Something like that.

I think it was just a bunch of little things, but like I said, it's not been made widely available, only a handful of people have seen the goods. I know I sure haven't seen anything specific. But Era staff knew leaks were happening so they've been on a mole hunt for some time.

So if this KetKat person is being an ass leaking private info among a circle of people, why would the forum be going ape shit supporting this person?

Because they suspect the info being secretly discussed is negative news they want to know?

One of the first things that crossed my mind when I saw this was how long it would take for someone to point out the racial thing. Like Arian Foster got dangerously close. I don't donate much to charity, but half the time I do it "it's just because I felt like it" when I could be walking around a mall and drop a Toonie into one of those Salvation Army glass bins. To be honest, I don't really give a shit, and don't even know where or how the money is being spent or even if the money is being spent on local issues (or spent elsewhere), but all I know is it's a charity that helps poor people so here's loose change in my pocket.

Pretty sure the lady sitting on the chair ringing the Salvation Army bell just cares about raising money, and not looking for exact political views.

The worst fast food joint I was ever in was when a bunch of us were in the US, and coming home we drove through Baltimore and stopped off at a Wendy's. I wasn't driving, but I think we took a highway driving through Washington, then Baltimore, then we were hungry and grabbed a bite.

It was definitely a shitty one in a sketchy area, although I don't know if we were in the hood. The entire men's bathroom was flooded. But of course, they didn't put a sign or anything saying Out of Order. So I walk in and it's piss water everywhere as one of the urinals was clogged, and you can tell it's been like that for a bit, which means nobody bothered mopping the floor or waiting for someone to fix it.

No, just depends on the area.

Upper class areas will be clean.

The staff will usually be mostly teens/young adults who are upbeat, pleasant, etc.
Happy to have a job and using it to pay for school, have some pocket money etc.
These kids know this is just a means to an end. They want to make management or they understand at least it looks good on a resume they had gainful employment for an extended amount of time.

Once you get to the ghetto, any ghetto establishment really, the service tanks.

Ghetto/Hood places are usually filthy and the staff treats you as a bother and doing their job as a chore they detest.
They act as if the establishment should be lucky to have them and give zero fucks about being fired.
They have no motivation to work, strive, and use it as a starting point.
In their head they deserve more money and less work without paying their dues and putting in the work. Zero work ethic.

And as we see in these videos, impulse control is at the bare minimum.

It's basically a feeling an entitlement. Nicer areas are filled with people who understand you need to start at the bottom and bust your ass. The hood is filled with people who think they deserve it and are filled with resentment having to work for it.
