Nothing eventful ever happens in the peaceful New Raccoon City. The legendary franchise Resident Evil brings its battle for survival to Netflix on July 14th.

Yeah this look shit, like the movies, if you want to make a generic zombie show do it, but don't try and ruin it for an already established fanbase thanks.
Try again in 10 years when they figure out how to properly adapt video games
Where was wesker?A black Wesker LMAO this Netflix guys
Where was wesker?
Riddick will be WeskerWhere was wesker?
Lance? Okay... Is he confirmed Wesker? I kinda just assumed from the trailer it was a brand new set of characters in a resident evil theme world. XD
Lance Reddick is a great actor, but even he wouldn't be able to save this if the material sucks.
Yeah, he was confirmed awhile back. No clue, maybe they're all Brad.Lance? Okay... Is he confirmed Wesker? I kinda just assumed from the trailer it was a brand new set of characters in a resident evil theme world. XD
Who are all the ladies playing as? Chris? Leon? Jill? Claire? Shiva? Barry?
This cast is made only for diversity reasons...Zombie army against some chicks that were top models before the outbreak. Yes not even my neighbor dog will watch it.
Which makes Lance Reddick's casting the more confusing.removing those problematic white dudes.
A reboot where the only main male character is a antagonist responsible for the downfall of the city, lmao. DAMN MEN ALWAYS RUINING EVERYTHING!So. Umbrella was responsible for the Racoon City zombie outbreak and subsequent destruction. Yet somehow returns, makes New Raccoon City, and everyone is "fuck yeah! Sounds great! Let's live there!"!
Or is this a some dumb shit reboot and we're just removing those problematic white dudes.
Because money, unfortunately. They assume that more people will tune in because of the Resident Evil name alone. Well, and, yeah, they're right. Why is this called Resident Evil other than the fact there are zombies?
If you're not going to stick even remotely close to the source material just call it something else for goodness sakes....
Claire and Christine RodriguesWho the fuck are these characters?
teaser looks better than the entire resident evil welcome to racoon city movie combined
While I can't speak on behalf of that film as I haven't seen it, at least there were a ton of things in the trailers that you recognized from RE 1/2. So it felt more RE than this IMO.Looks better than the recent PoS movie.

This series is just, "What if the Resident Evil we knew didn't exist, and this is how it would be as a brand new story."
Oh of course, I'm just speaking on surface level. I think it was easy to justify the quality of the previous film from those trailers as well, haha. I believe you, I was actually pretty surprised that there were quite a few people that also enjoyed it. But that's how that all works.Something aesthetically looking similar to its source isn't indicative of quality. Trust me, that movie was shite, I spent hard cash to see it in the cinema.

While curious, I still don't think I can bring myself to watching it, unless maybe it's free and I have time to burn, lol.
