Simple, very clean, I love it. I want one 😁 But Astrobot controller is still the goat of dual sense design.

Sony is getting pretty lazy with these, presumably because they know people who want the games will buy them at a certain percentage as a collector's item.

I wonder how many of the shitty Fortnite model they made.

Sony has some excellent LE controllers this gen. These are the ones I have,

30th is the GOAT, but I love the Astro Bot design as well.

I don't like the other two however and it's down to button color. With Spider-Man the sacred symbols are obviously just pulled from a standard white controller, and the GoW controller just looks weird with black buttons also lifted straight from Midnight Black.

That the problem with most PlayStation Ltd Edition controllers. They are just mix matched parts with some small decals in the same exact spots. The Death Stranding is the same as the Final Fantasy controller, and the Hogwarts controller.

At least the Concord controller of all things had the design encroaching on the buttons and not just a preset section of the handle.

If there is one thing that Xbox does better it's controller designs (not the controller itself as I think the Dualsense is superior in most ways).

I think there is no objectivity here. To me the GoW one is super ugly and has nothing to to with gow. The Spiderman one has nothing from Spiderman except the logo and it looks stupid that only one half was painted. The Astro Bot controller is ok, but you could pin eyes on a piece of shit or a wart and it looks cute.

30th anniversary looks great tho.

I'm glad it exists as an option but it doesn't rustle my jimmies any. For now the only controllers that I care about for PS5 are the Teal pearlescent controller and the Anniversary one.

!

The simplicity caught me off-guard at first, but I actually like the stark color contrast of the bright-orange on black and blue. Probably not buying it still, but have fun if you do.

Imagine if that touchscreen had other functions, when you look at the Dreamcast memory card that had tasks on a little screen.
