It was initially called "project century" so I'd expect a few more times too.I just realized that the first trailer said 1915, and this one says 1943.
Does that mean that we play different characters during different timelines?
Judging from the title, could be the same character in different time periods.I just realized that the first trailer said 1915, and this one says 1943.

My guess as well. And the glowing blue eyes. Seems like Assassin's Creed 1 or time travel element.Judging from the title, could be the same character in different time periods.
The blue glowing eyes and the blue kimono costume in the first trailer is significant as blue has a particular meaning in japan. The jazz set up and the date of the first period is also very significant. Also the fact the action takes place near the docks and the character appears to be a hafu also has weight with the color scheme the character has. Not to mention the symbol he was wearing in the first trailer. My guess as well. And the glowing blue eyes. Seems like Assassin's Creed 1 or time travel element.
Let's hope the same does not happen with VF6.Big drop in quality from the Project Century trailer.

More like a click and point option adventure than just a yakuza clone. The first trailer was more yakuza with the random battles. This one had a different vibe to it.project century is just another recycled yakuza game? Disappointing but still curious
lol I mean, I loved this and Onimusha the most next to ILL, Mixtape and RE9, but I don't think the show needed saving..Nice! This and Onimusha saved the show.
This is the reason I don't like games that use real actors' faces.Judgment died for this, but it seems worth it.
I guess we.....Judgment died for this, but it seems worth it.
SEGA rereleased the teaser trailer from last year but under the new title of STRANGER THAN HEAVEN. This confirms that the game will take place at least in two different time periods or more correctly, different decades with the same character whose beyond human.
People are fuckin nutters over whether a show was good or bad. Like, we just got to see a 2 hour show full of new shit without too much filler. What more could one want?lol I mean, I loved this and Onimusha the most next to ILL, Mixtape and RE9, but I don't think the show needed saving..
I think gamers need to get that the show is about showing many games in development and clearly not all of us play all genres and all games. Because of this, I don't think such thing would ever matter, no show would exist like this in which all of us liked all the games, we all don't like all games that release right now lol
If someone loves MP gaming, "Arc Raiders saved the show"
If someone loves Horror games "ILL saved the show"
So...I may love both games you mentioned, but I also recognize no show will ever show 99% of games I will likely play, but that is not the fault of the show to the point of needing to be "saved" or something odd like this. Merely means we naturally like different things and the showcase itself is subjective based on what gamers like.
Someone out there disagrees with you and thinks the show can't be saved cause Kingdom Hearts 4 wasn't shown lol
No but people are realising it. It appears the game will span a 100 years with the same character. Either it will end in 1999 or 2015 if the game begins in 1915. I'm also starting to think the game is set in an alternate time line. So actual historical events won't be present or be exactly the same.1943 was during WW2 when japan was at war with the USA, but there's no signs of the environment being in a wartime scenario.tbh, I thought this was already known, like it would take place in both those times
It's just one way to say that I like this and Onimusha the most in this event. The show was finelol I mean, I loved this and Onimusha the most next to ILL, Mixtape and RE9, but I don't think the show needed saving..

Soon, give it time.

Fuck off with that, its japanese game, most of japanese studios(cant say all, since we have for example this shit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unknown_9:_Awakening ) arent stupid enough to make woke games, we got bungie/fairgame$, ubi and other cucks do that instead, they dont give a damn if their games flop or not tho so its understandable
In January 2025, Bandai-Namco Europe CCO Herve Hoerdt released a statement on the reception of the game saying that there will be no sequels for the game. The statement said in part "This decision correlates directly with the failure of the studio's ambitious and courageous first project, a new IP with a rich transmedia universe," and "The performance of the release didn't come near the company expectations, after numerous timeline adjustments and investments, both financially and other, and didn't warrant any further exploration in this universe." Follow-up series and additional staff that worked on the game were laid off.
I still like the feel of it, but more than likely, just like with many other trailers- reveal is just a vision/doctored af bullshot trailer, and not actual in-game footage even tho they are often presented as suchYeah, the first trailer showed some brutal combat especially, hope they didn't tone that down.
Very different, that's very unfortunate. I like the look of the first trailer way more. I didn't expect them to have changed this so much in just a few months.
