Admitting you have a problem is the first step in the road to recovery. It's cute that you're trying to do that for him, but you can't play the helpless addict card until he's getting help. Until then he's the dangerous moron and drug addict who needs to step down.
That's true. I'd like to frowny face that he's gone, but it's really for the best for him, obviously. I just miss randomly seeing this guy around downtown doing his thing.

I just wanted to thank Toronto for having a political executive that makes our governor here in Maine look sane by comparison. Lord knows it's been tough having LePage mouthing off constantly instead of being a low-key fiscal conservative, but at the end of the day we could always say "well, at least we're not Toronto." Going to be sad if you get rid of him.

I long realized the fruitlessness of debating with him after one conversation where it got to the point where he was advocating a fenced off ghetto in Toronto for the homeless and people on welfare.

I am genuinely concerned that people don't see this as a problem. The mayor having direct ties to Toronto's organized crime elements is really no different from the mayor of Montreal having ties to the mafia. This is not something we want, you have to be intellectually bankrupt to vote for him at this point.
