In preparation for this dlc madness (apparently eb Canada's flyers shows standalone game gets nothing), I was going to check the rock band store on the 360 and check what's available. Turns out the store is off. What gives?

You don't think anyone would want to buy physical for 25 plus 25 adapter to get the two for 50 instead of 80?
Still weird in this digital age that the instruments are only bundled with physical copies. Wish band in a box had no game copy, to be purchased separately. Then everyone has options that work for them.

Rock Band Legacy Adapter is also 1-per-person. Maybe a limited-stock thing? Something to be aware of. One-day delivery for $4, not seeing any release day option.
Probably to keep assholes from buying them all up and reselling them for 60$ a unit. And maybe as a side benefit keep people from accidentally buying 4 thinking they need one per instrument?

They are planning to sell separate instruments in 2016, as of right now you're just going to find game bundles.
As far as I know, it's just a retailer thing. I don't think the PS4 Digital Version says anything about the 30 songs, so the Xbox One version probably won't either.

Aw, looks like the Amazon exclusive tracks aren't actually included in this pre-order. 30 bonus tracks offer also looks absent.
I imagine those will both just be downloadable codes though? Meaning plenty of them being unloaded on the secondary market?

I am on my laptop as I saw some people saying on other sites it doesn't work on mobile but I can't get the desktop version of the product page to load either. I'm really hoping I can get this adapter with that code mentioned later in the thread to get it for $10. I just pre-ordered the digital XBone version of RB4 but won't get to play it without that adapter!

It seems like Amazon took the page down, I imagine Microsoft wanted to announce the preorder stuff on their own terms - but the internet beat them to it.
It'll be back up tomorrow, though. It's clearly an official deal.
Yeah I'm sure you are right I just didn't like the vague verbiage it has about using that coupon code on Amazon's website. Something about "during this exclusive pre-order window, enter the code". As long as the "pre-order window" is until the game comes out and not some other finite amount of time they don't mention, then that's fine. I will happily order it when Amazon/Harmonix/MS is ready as long as I can get in on that deal!

Fine by me, I got a Les Paul here at home too. My friend gave me an Xplorer that he's had in his garage for years so I was just curious.
$220+$10 for the full band bundle and adapter sounds good to me.
That's indeed an excellent deal. The dumbest thing I did this year was sell my old guitar for 10EUR. I could have just used it with that adapter that I can now grab for 10$.
Instead now I have to get the Guitar bundle for 150 EUR, while missing the tracks that interest me the most due to them being digital pre-order DLC.
I should have just kept that guitar. Sigh.

Just ordered the adapter. This will be the first time I'll be able to play Rock Band with four simultaneous players if the opportunity arises.
