I have played it before, and in it's full glory. It is awesome. I just don't have the room for the full experience in my humble bedroom. I'll probably buy RB2 when I move out.CurseoftheGods said:What do you think of Rock Band, Cajole?![]()
onemic said:Is joshua tree a good album? I've never had a U2 album, and I'd lover to start. I loved elevation when it came out.
CajoleJuice said:Oh yeah, I was just gonna get the disc. I guess I should buy used, but I don't like supporting Gamestop and its ilk, and I wanted the game TONIGHT. :lol
Maybe I'll just go with my original plan of Amazon marketplace.
Edit: Wait, I still have some money on an Edge card, I might as well use it and get rid of it.
D'oh! I thought this expired on Sunday. Well, off to get a GTA IV tomorrow.Belgand said:In that case get this coupon from CAG for 25% off used product. Apparently it stacks with Edge cards.
PhoncipleBone said:If you were to pick a single album I would say Joshua Tree or Achtung Baby. Joshua Tree is what made them HUGE. Their earlier stuff is still great, and they just did some really nice 2 disc deluxe editions of their first three albums. Even if you get the single disc ones, make sure you get the new remastered editions, even with Joshua Tree. The remastered audio is great.
And as for getting U2 in the game, as awesome as Joshua tree would be, I would LOVE a Who style mega pack over just one album. U2 has too many great songs for this game that are outside of Joshua Tree. I want Bad...man that would kick ass to have in the game.(not overly complicated, just a great song.)

Yeah, like I said, I just wanted this EDGE card out of my fucking wallet so I never have a reason to go back there again. When he told me I still had money on it (only about 6 bucks), I almost thought of throwing it on the ground in the parking lot. Maybe I'll just burn it. Fortunately, the game is in great condition, complete with original case and manual.Belgand said:In that case get this coupon from CAG for 25% off used product. Apparently it stacks with Edge cards.
Edit: Doh! Too late. Still a good deal if you were planning on buying anything else used or if anyone else here wanted anything. I was cheap enough to even use it on a $6 copy of Sly 2: Band of Thieves. Haha sales tax, thwarted again!
Still, I wouldn't have paid one cent over $30. Nor would I buy anything used that wasn't in nearly pristine condition with full manual and original case. I'm not a collector, but I want my things to be in good condition like I'd bought them originally. Plus they're asshats for selling the same used goods for the same price without a box or manual. Hell, I bought a "new" copy of Digital Devil Saga once after it had been out for a while and was becoming hard to find and it was so shelf-worn that it had a big crease down one side of the outer box and looked like it was used. I don't own NES games I've had since '86 in that bad of condition. I think they gave me a 10% discount though. Still... no right selling a used-looking product (where, of course, they'd removed the discs and unwrapped it) as "new". New means that you haven't opened it yourself and let your employees dick around with the contents. That's open stock and I don't know anyone who sells it for full price. Hell, is it even technically allowable to sell store-opened goods as "new" in the USA? I thought that once a product was opened it could no longer be sold as new (e.g. returns) even if you just walked outside the store, opened it, removed nothing and brought it back all in full view of the employees.
same thing happened to my account like 2 months ago don't know why thoough, but I was happy just like u because my FL was also clustered, but now it's clustered again :\.BigBlackGamer said:alright my profile is all screwy. brought my profile back to my HDD and it deleted all my friends....blessing in disguise because my list was cluttered as hell. Belgand said:It depends on whether you want the hits and are just a casual fan or if you want the deep album cuts. Not to mention those of us who are big fans of the entire album format. Sure, you could make a "Best Of" by pulling out singles from Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall, but I'd much rather be able to play through the entire album the way it was meant to be heard. Actually, I'm pretty sure it may have been meant to be heard stoned so ignore that bit at least.

XShagrath said:"Tour Challenge" has replaced the single player linear setlist mode. So, this is the definitive new "solo" play mode. However, it can be done as a band as well. I don't think there are any "fans" associated with this mode, like there are with BWT.

TheGreatDave said:Shit, I really need to read up on Rock Band 2, I thought single player was just basically BWT without friends or loved ones. It's just tour challenges?
birdman said:You can play BWT alone if I'm not mistaken.
