I don't understand this, slow how? slower than burnout? yeah it is. Slower than GT? I don't think so. It has to feel slower so you can time your powerplays. Its good to hear the full game is good because I also have it preorered. The 10 and 20 dollar credit has made me preorder everything, fuck golden guns or whatever give me money and ill preorder.
 
The sense of speed seemed less than it should and it's not 60fps. But no, not slower than GT, which has the worst sense of speed I've ever seen, at least in 3 and 4.

Except I fucking bought some weird shaving cream instead of my usual aftershave so my face is already hurting.

Dude the wind on your face feels so weird after shaving a long standing beard I just did it about a week ago. It was definitely bizzare. The beard is back in full effect now.

GT has never been great about sense of speed, but really when your going 70 miles an hour on a highway it doesn't seem that fast unless you look directly down. So I guess its real enough, the turning is almost too realistic. The only reason I play those games is to tune my cars.

You guys do realize that the route they are taking. They are clearly aiming way more casual. I wouldn't be surprised if the only feature that we got was the new song select screen.

This is the kind of mindset you'll want going into the RB3 announcement.

On another note, Billy Joel: Rock Band confirmed by The Office.

RB3 is going to be just like RB2, with a keytar, a quickplay menu that works and some gimmicky Natal stuff. And maybe some "real instrument cuz we don't know what the audience wants" stuff.
 
Natal and Move are more or less beta tests for the next consoles from those manufacturers, but you can believe that MS is going to ensure that Natal doesn't bellyflop. All that talk about "re-launching" the 360 means they're in it for the long haul.

Zune is still a very viable and successful MP3 player thanks to MS sticking with it after all of the bad press and adversity. I feel bad for Windows Mobile 7, though; the war between iPhone and Android is really heating up and I don't think the market really has any room for another "big" competitor.

I love my Zune, but they pretty much have been left completely behind the trends at this point. Zune HD is so poor compared to iPod Touch it's stupid.
 
Love my Zune HD still, i prefer the subscription based model Zune uses and then also lets you keep 10 songs a month. Never got into the iPod hype
 
Isn't the only big thing in the iPod Touch's favor is that it has access to the App Store? Hardware-wise, Zune HD and iPod Touch may as well be identical.

Then again, since Apple's QA policy for the App Store makes Nintendo's current policy look like Gestapo tactics, you could probably stand to have several thousand more "games" than you normally would.

Zune Pass + Zune is awesome. I love it. But the thing isn't cheap enough compared to the Touch to make up for it's shitty apps and such.

Yeah I can't believe they finally launched the 64 gig at fucking $350. You can buy pretty much any piece of electronics for less than that.
 
Hey Char/Shag/whoever, which group would you say does the best at charting for RBN? I'm seeing if I can drop a hint to get Bad Religion in on this.
 
I used to really like Bad Religion until I got my Zune. For some reason it really likes playing them every 3rd song on shuffle and it eventually kind of pissed me off.

Edit: 104 of 4543 songs.
 
How many songs do you have on it? BR has about 250 songs so it is pretty easy to have them show up a lot in shuffle.

Edit: That's mighty impressive then.

I'm hoping amazon price drops the crap out of the fucker since they're waiting until mid-June to sell it.

If not, I'll probably wait until the fall to see if they announce a 2.0 version.
